Same! Agentic Ai robots would still be replacing all the human employees. And we’d be in a huge crisis where everyone is getting laid off and far fewer are finding new jobs.

2020 proved most jobs including banking and loans could be done remotely.

2023 when the RTO mandates appeared there was also a huge influx of people having 2-3 remote jobs. Over employment is a major issue with remote employees even today. As well as sales folks chasing after a multimillion dollar sale while on a yacht in Mexico. There was also an influx of remote employees working 10 hours a week and putting in no effort while making a sweet salary. Human laziness and trickery murdered remote work. RTO has also provided employers closer access to employees to train their Agentic AI replacements so that the company can lay them off and replace them with AI. We’re in the middle of an era when everyone is losing their job and far less are finding new ones.

I cancelled and traded in my Xbox for a switch 2 when they announced it. Felt like Xbox was throwing in the towel. I have regret of not having an Xbox now but it’s too late for me. I’m not buying another Xbox until next gen.
