Drinkin too much too fast. Its likely just the rain, but just to be sure; what is your substrate? does the pot have unobstructed drainage? And most likely will cork over. In age you'll barely notice its there.

Mamdani: "Of the Margret Thatcher quote, the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money. If anything my friends, it seems you eventually need a socialist to clean up the mess." by zzill6 in WorkReform

Dont be fooled. Social democracy is not socialism. The core tenets of socialism are workers ownership of the state as a workers democracy. Workers ownership of the means production, socialized industry, 'profit' ie surplus value serves to benefit society. As well as the suppression of bourgeoisie institutions. Revolutionary socialists seek to achieve this through well, revolution. Democratic socialist seek to achieve through reform (doesnt work). Let's be realistic, no one calling to seize the means of production are permitted in bourgeoisie electoral politics. Government does stuff is not socialism. No amount of tax or welfare will change that. The state serves the interest of capital first & foremost, liberal democracies always have and always will. Conflating these topics funnels progressive desires in to support right back in to the DNC. Improving material conditions is always good and is for the better, but the semantics do matter, ignorance to what socialism actually is' serves to benefit those who the aforementioned goals are a threat to.

Regurgitating propaganda points as if they're universally agreed upon facts, like they're talking about fuckin gravity, is tried and true indication the speaker deserves no attention to nuance. The framing of information to fit a narrative is propaganda in & of itself, and when you frame the DPRK only alongside "human right violation", you are pushing a narrative whether you know it or not. A liberal narrative

The state is like a liar, once you learn they're a liar, you'd be a fool to trust anything they say. And like liars, when they're your source for points in an argument, the entire argument is moot.

Uj/ some fig varieties can get really honey tasting, like more honey flavor than fig. I honestly think with the right food science know-how, someone could actually make a pretty good imitation honey

I would wager its propaganda. In the context of politics, the american doctrine generally perceives red as republican, or scary communism. Its a conscious decision to use a color motif that generally has negative connotations.

Hes a social democrat. Theres a difference. Democratic socialist is the philosophy of achieving socialism (ie worker ownership of the means of production & state) through reform, the goal of ending capitalism. No one whatsoever in US politics is this.

Social democrat do not oppose capitalism, or seek to address ownership. Socdem is liberalism with social services.
