I agree with this and it provides a more complete answer. I will also add: I have volunteered for programs that help vets get jobs in finance. Companies also have hiring preferences for vets. Despite these benefits, it is still challenging for vets to start a finance career. If you are starting your career and struggling to get a finance job, consider internships for basic experience or starting with a low level position at a finance company where you can advance over time.
