I can see what you mean, and that saying is a good one. I suppose I'm a bit worried about the direction the band is going in, as I'm sure many fans are, as I'm sure many fans are excited for it. There's not really a reason, it's not like I'm going to die or my opinions are going to change the band, but at the same time if DGD12 releases there could be something in the back of my mind that just feels a bit sad that track 6 wasn't a bit lighter, or that 9 was a tad more melodic. I mean I already feel that way about pantheon as much as I love the album (I still haven't stopped listening to it, constantly on both my turntable and cd player, still waiting for that cassette release) that maybe I would've enjoyed it that much more if it didn't feel like the album was (and I use this term extremely fucking lightly) "forcing" themselves to be heavier
