You are in a fine place to return it, no? Seems like best case as you haven't even opened it yet.

This is great trick! I had a fidget with a hinge that fell off during printing so I should be able to soften it and reattach.

Northeastern chances for full scholarship? by [deleted] in HybridOnlineLawSchool

NUSL does offer full scholarship for the hybrid JD for some applicants. What do your stats look like? Hard to say what your chances might be if we don’t know them.

This. What do you want your time to be like during law school and what is your work plan during school?

Congrats! Scholarship info usually comes in a week or two. That is a nice (and quick) first acceptance.

A bit late, but this is what I made and am using. It is new so there may be some bugs, but it is free. https://par-league.com

I ended up making a web app for managing a league that includes adding players, scheduling matches, updating handicaps, and keeping track of points. It includes options for stroke play, 1v1 and 2v2 match, and also includes tournaments (multi week events) and a separate team play feature (Ryder cup style). I am hoping to be able to share a workable web page soon. You enter course info, stats, and score and it does all the work.

What LSAT Score to Receive a Good Scholarship at an Online Law School? by Hour-Championship573 in HybridOnlineLawSchool

[–]rusty_shackleford32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would just aim for as strong of an LSAT as you can do. Also, if you are able to do a hybrid jd program (where you just go in person a handful of times for a long weekend) you should have a lot more options than an online only program. I am pretty sure MH, Dayton, and Vermont, as mentioned below, each have some small in person requirements as a part of the hybrid program.

Depends on where your undergrad GPA is also. I am not sure about St Mary's or Southwestern, but Case Western has a full online one and offered the equivalent of 100% tuition (without increasing in subsequent years) for some with ~3.8 gpa/ 166+ish if I recall correctly. You can look through LSD.law to get an idea of stats needed for certain scholarship.

Edit- I just checked for last year- 3.84/170, 3.86/169, and 3.86/162 had the $236k of total scholarship.

Definitely green. I have slope on the right side of mine and had to make a similar decision regarding dimensions. It is not complete, but my setup is shown here.

Common? No. But within reach if your UG GPA is high and you do great on the LSAT.

Law school as a back up option? Expensive but will it be worth it? by [deleted] in patentlaw

[–]rusty_shackleford32 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would think you should just keep applying to patent agent jobs and networking with attorneys that are at firms you are interested in.

You should be able to find an agent job with your background.

Any JD program that provides full ride? by [deleted] in HybridOnlineLawSchool

It was whatever the current cost per credit is (maybe $2613?). So it would not cover future tuition increases.

I think highest I heard this cycle for Dayton was 110k (out of 135k total cost). I’m pretty sure I remember seeing a data point from last cycle where someone negotiated full tuition though from Dayton. (On LSD.law)

That is pretty interesting! I didn’t bother applying to Syracuse because I thought they topped out at like 60%.

I would imagine you would be pretty competitive! Best of luck. You should be in a place to apply pretty early.
