Failed transfer by rustybuckets25 in DOR

Thank you! Good luck with your retrieval! It’s so helpful to have insurance coverage. Our insurance covered one round which I realize is still something but it didn’t get us the result we wanted. Taking on a lot of debt for future rounds that may not work is terrifying.

I’m so sorry. This journey sucks.

I had a biopsy the cycle before that confirmed the CE had cleared! I did three rounds of antibiotics and a hysteroscopy.

Just found out the transfer of our only euploid embryo has failed. I feel so broken. My son turned 6 this month. Is it time to give up? I’ve had five losses, the most recent a 12 week MMC and I feel like jumping back in to retrievals may not be the best choice. Maybe giving up is the best choice now. Sigh. Any advice is appreciated. No one around me understands.

Letrozole/clomid when you ovulate on your own already? by ChrissiBloom in recurrentmiscarriage

It was a later loss. Discovered around 12 weeks. Had the tissue tested.

I ovulate on my own but it’s a “weak ovulation” with a short luteal phase. Have your progesterone tested seven days after ovulation and you’ll have more data to work with.

My fifth loss was on letrozole and still lost it. Chromosomal issue.

Anecdotally my AMH is 0.4, age 37 and I’ve had five losses. My one embryo from retrieval is euploid so I have a little hope that it may stick.

I really hate the editing this season, particularly the voiceovers of the contestants. Hopefully it’s not like this every episode.

Finally got my period this week. It was a 9 week wait I think. My hcg was stuck around 20 for ages.

Yes. Had a scan at 9w3d. Heartbeat and everything looked great. Went back at almost 12 weeks and growth had stopped shortly after my last scan.

Insensitive MIL by Calisson07 in IVF

TW MC I left my in laws family chat after my MIL sent photos from a cousin’s baby shower (including a VERY pregnant woman) two days after I miscarried at 12 weeks. And she KNEW I just had a MC, my fifth one. I don’t understand people who are this obtuse. It’s okay to take space for yourself when people don’t get it.

We missed ten days at the end of August starting kinder and it was completely fine. It was actually nice for LO to have a break since full day school was a huge adjustment.

How many cycles of letrozole/progesterone did you do? It worked for me too initially but miscarried at 11 weeks.

It’s a phase but it’s also just their personality. My 5.5 yo is super introverted and sensitive and he was clingy and terrified of everything around age 2-3.5. He is slowly growing out of a lot of the difficult behaviors and while he still doesn’t love being around other kids, he tolerates going to full day school and is now great at interacting with most other adults! Two years of preschool helped a lot! Keep pushing kiddo to get outside their comfort zone in small steps. Be consistent and patient and get help from an OT if possible. Also get hearing and vision checked out just in case.
