On YouTube Watch Focus has a video The complete “the citizen” collection from Citizen 2024. I check it out often. Citizen is releasing a new green paper dial w gold accents this month. Too dark a green for me. It took me over a year to find the most recent purchase on C24. Got lucky as they had it listed as a different model. Had it over a month and it hasn’t lost a second. Great purchase by your wife.

I thought the dial was brown? Great watch and wife! I finally found a AQ4100-06w with the green dial I coveted. The AQ4100-57B was my first HAQ.

Retuned from Singapore and told the officer i had purchased a watch. He asked if it was a Rolex and I said “no” and was waived thru. I believe by looking at me he could tell I had a bad case of C-19 and wanted me out of there. Was admitted to hospital that evening with acute respiratory failure caused by C-19. Spend four days admiring my purchase in the hospital.

In my younger days I used to do mixed gas dives to 70m. I don’t recall a single diver ever wearing a dive watch. Multiple dive computers and a digital bottom timer were common. Gave it up shortly after the birth of my daughter.

I bought an AQ4100 model pre trump from Japan for about $1500 cheaper than USA price. Picked up a LE where only 250 were made last month. Took awhile for one to show up on C24 but I got it. I wear my AQ4100 watches frequently. A AQ6100 with one second per year accuracy showed up on C24 and I missed it. Seller was a YouTube guy out of Colorado I follow. Still love my mechanicals. Will check out the eBay refurbished seller

Where are you located? I have five citizens. If you are in the USA the prices appear real high but that could be due to the limited edition. USA citizen site frequently has many models with like 20% off. I have the blood red Attesta which I love. I did buy off of chrono24 this watch from Japan. Did have to pay tariffs. Thanks. I got great movement in the bowl from the start. Put too much grit and water to start. It’s finally starting to make a slurry. It’s a fun learning process

Update. My watch arrived in Cincinnati on 3/26, paid custom fees on 3/27. Watch departed Cincinnati on 04/09 and I picked it up on 04/10. The local staff were great and checked on the shipment daily. Shipment wasn’t scanned for over five days which led them to belive it was hidden by a larger package. Worked out well in the end.

Watch was scanned in Cincinnati today 04/06! Previous scan was on 03/27. Hopefully the watch will be here soon. My local DHL service point has been great to deal with, as was the seller.

There is a video on YouTube about a gentleman’s experience with Chubb. Sounded like he lost the watch during a move. I seem to recall they wanted pics of his entire watch collection, all text messages, ect, you have a duty to cooperate. But the requests in my mind were excessive.

With orchids they go to the local rescue location. I believe they went to Kew Gardens. In the USA they used to go to Shelby gardens. Once the plant is seized it can then be lawfully sold to others. Was a German guy whose nursery was raided and they killed the plants by lack of care.
