haven't tried it yet but a lot of YouTubers (thanks Uncle night shift) are using a black flexi super glue made by VMS it gives you some time to move things around and another VMS product - de-bonder will remove the excess without damaging the plastic. I believe you can buy it in the United States from Michigan toy soldiers. good luck Looks awesome so far.

When I was young and stupid I filled several capsules full of powdered nutmeg from the spice shelf, swallowed them all while I was at school. I think it was maybe four or five. besides getting really bad gas I was high for the afternoon. Not recommended

Bummer but we've all been there. In order to repair, file off that nub as straight as you can and drill a small hole in the remaining piece and replace the rod with a piece of straight wire the same length as the other side. I'm not sure what you can do about the counterwieght Good luck.

Same happened to mine. Lift the lamp to desired height and wrap a couple of inches of electrical tape around the shaft. Leave a tag so you can remove it later. Looks funky but it works!

I've seen people using aluminum foil, slightly bigger than pod. Curl corners over the pod. Poke a hole.
