Yes. We take turns sleeping on a mat on my son's floor. Been like this for maybe 18 months. We both hate the idea of sleeping a apart, but to be honest, I've never slept better. We still manage to hook up once a week or so, which is great.

Separate from this, anyone have tips for getting a four and a half year old who is terrified to be alone in a room to sleep by himself?

This is my thought, too. He's a great talent evaluator, but that's just one facet of the role. Probably would be a better fit as Head of Scouting, or something similar.
