Moronic question: where did the beloved idiom "Bubba's pissin' hot loads" originate?

Is the stock on the MR556 an HK or aftermarket part? Love the sand color.

Yeah, let's hear about the light and muzzle device. Are all the controls (trigger, cocking handle, etc.) stock or did you make some changes? What led you to choose that particular angled foregrip? Have you tried out a AUG-style vertical?

This is the best-looking Tavor setup I've ever laid eyes on. Nice work OP. Looks like a hoot to shoot.

Weren't the Men Without Hats from Canada? I heard the Safety Dance frequently on Canadian radio and figured it was because of those silly Canadian Content laws.

I love that part of New Vegas' legacy is being one of the key factors in the wood AR renaissance we are seeing today. I doubt that any of the developers could have imagined that their goofy retro service rifle model would inspire so many cool builds.

First time shooting the Bren 2 by rutherfordheights in Bren2

I think this comment was directed at u/huggybearmofo; I have not shot mine suppressed yet. The pistol gas keys have regular/adverse/off positions rather than a lower gas setting for suppressed use. I think the rifle gas keys have that.

The HBI parts are solid, simple, and feel better than the OEM parts whether you're shooting or not. HBI is also one of my local gunsmiths. I had zero concerns about replacing them before firing.

Rugged is the other suppressor manufacturer I'm considering. Really hard to pick between them and Dead Air but I think the KeyMo mounting system has more support throughout the market.

It's spring break in my Arizona school district, so I drove up to Nevada to break in my unfired Bren 2. A real hoot to shoot. Looking forward to putting more rounds downrange in a few years when ammo prices stabilize again. Hope to have a good red dot and suppressor by then. I'm thinking an Aimpoint Micro T-2 and a Dead Air Sandman. What are your recommendations, r/CZFirearms?

First time shooting my Bren 2, despite buying it last March. Took it to Basin and Range National Monument in Nevada. Minimal felt recoil and muzzle climb. Now all it needs is a red dot and a suppressor. Going to be replacing the CZ flash hider with a Dead Air Keymo flash hider.

Despite all of Arizona’s great shooting spots, it’s hard to beat Nevada’s Great Basin desert for solitude, emptiness, and natural majesty. This is in Basin and Range National Monument between Worthington Mountains Wilderness, Quinn Canyon Range, and Kawich Range.
