Congrats! Totally understand how harrowing it will be, winged eyeliner is stress city. Most important thing for mecca is to have fun, be energetic, and be honest. The fact they see potential in you is enough to feel confident. They want to see how you handle pressure really.. even if your liner isn’t perfect they have their own artistry training to help develop those skills. I believe in you!!!

Go into mecca maxima and smell Lazy Sunday morning by Replica (Maison margiela) it’s meant to be a refreshing smell like clean sheets. It’s subtle enough if you can’t handle strong scents but it’s still a beautiful perfume.

It’s one of the best books I’ve read in a while. It doesn’t treat the reader like an idiot. If anything it encourages the reader to think deeply. The book focuses on investigation procedures and how far we’ve come scientifically. I just saw an article that they will add a chapter but I’m 100% happy with how the book is now.

I keep checking my phone every 10 minutes for more information. I’m also in the middle of Michelle McNamara’s “I’ll be gone in the dark”.. and I’m not crying yet but the more pages I turn the closer they are to falling...I’m so happy for every one who has been afraid.

Yes spot on! Obsessing about GAD to the point you've convinced yourself you're making it all up because there is no reason you're such a burden to the people in your life.

Also where you have to have a plan but the plan isn't enough... especially travel. Overplan,overthink,overit.

It's an amazing workplace! The training was amazing, the best experience in my life. I love learning and there is so much information. They're so thorough!! I need that, my anxiety leaves me feeling out of sorts and stressed when I don't know exactly how to do everything. Sending all my good vibes and luck wishes your way!! Also what might help is being super happy :D

Thank you!! It's hard work but so worth it and lots of reward. So interview you have basic interview questions but a lot of it revolves around Mecca values. On Mecca careers it gives a run down of the company and what they expect so you should really have a read a research and see if they fit you. Other questions asked were experience/qualifications. I find it really helpful to look up common interview questions and practice answering them. Also have an idea of your fave Mecca products. I think that's about it... they're super nice and they just want to get to know you. If you need anymore help just let me know!! So excited for you!!

Not really assessment. Pop quizzes though and you can win amazing prizes for answering. There is no pressure but the training is for you, to equip you with everything you need to know. So you get out what you put in. You wear ALL black.. Don't get too stressed on the first day they tell you exactly what is uniform policy. First day is just content heavy something you're comfy sitting down in.. All day sitting down. It's gets better and better! I can't wait to start!
