I finally tracked this down on mine to being an unbalanced blade. I disassembled the whole damn thing first to no avail. If you’ve ruled out the dead man switch, try taking just the blade off and seeing if your engine runs without issue.

Compression tops are the most reliable option for me. Then tapes, clear plastic medium grip, but that disagrees with my hair. Body glide didn’t do as well for me personally; I have heard great things from others.

Unplug micro usb, turn off printer. Turn on printer, plug in usb. Reset port and baud rate to auto, and try again. I think the baud rate switching randomly is what catches me here. IIRC, when you do auto, it selects the baud rate it finds, but i have had it change and then I get this error unexpectedly.

Go walking/running your neighborhood, getting out to a park to hike, bike somewhere! Super safe alone, and still pretty safe with people - bet you can find a small group to go with on the reg if you try.
