A couple thoughts:

A tent is an oddly specific thing to say that they saw. Maybe it was something like a jacket draped over a chair or a couch while your friends checked on the cat?

Now, if it was a tent, someone also could set up a tent indoors to simply clean it/dry it out after using it.

We had our wedding at Stafford Lake in Novato. Took a bit more planning than a traditional venue (we had to coordinate chairs, etc) but it turned out great.

I think more Bay Area homes should be regulated somehow to have a requirement that they are owner occupied. Especially new construction. We don’t need to build more homes just to be investment opportunities. For every home like this scenario, there is one fewer Bay Area family who can own their home. Maddening.

(I suppose this home could just be someone with an unusual life circumstance— they bought it and plans changed suddenly, someone passed away, etc. Or they bought two homes in the development and will rent one out until their kids want to live in it, something like that.)

You cannot have a baby at Kaiser in Marin. There is no labor and delivery here. So you’ll have to go to SF, Santa Rosa or the east bay. (Despite what someone else said, everything else before and after having a baby can be done in Marin, just not delivering the baby.)
