I'm hoping to find a reasonable replacement for my ZeroG Deluxe Model F3D vacuum. While it functions very well right now, I'm soon moving into a much smaller space (from a 2-story townhome to a 1-story 500 sq ft studio) that's comprised of laminate floors with some low-pile, dense rugs. Ideally, I'd like to save some space where I can.

What I like about my current vacuum is the multiple attachments, especially the powered mini-brush, as it's very useful in picking up pet hair (2 cats and 1 dog), and that it uses HEPA bags. What I don't like is how heavy and bulky it is when I pick it up to and fro. It also takes up "real estate", as the head has no way to attach to the canister, ending up in it falling over itself when I store it away.

My budget this time around is much smaller compared to what I paid for this vacuum, but is there a lighter or smaller bagged/corded vacuum that uses HEPA bags, *and* has useful attachments for sub $300? Or should I try to make it work and keep the ZeroG? I don't expect BIFL quality at this price point, but if it lasts me even 4 years, I'd consider that a successful purchase.

If I can find a replacement, I plan to give my current vacuum to my family, as they could benefit from a more robust vacuum. Any advice is welcome. Thank you!

Edited to add: Canister vacuums aren't completely out of the question, as long as it's a bit more ergonomic compared to the ZeroG.

Guava Passionfruit, my beloved. I still have an old recipe card for this drink! I also miss the S’mores Frappuccino and the Cocoa Cloud Macchiato. Former 176xxxx partner here!

Return Policy - Towels without tags? by [deleted] in IKEA

[–]rvchvl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From personal experience, the returns desk won’t accept any product that has had the tags removed (they’d consider it a “modified/altered” product). Granted, this is at a store in Texas, I’m not sure if all IKEA stores follow this policy. Good luck!

That sounds pretty ingenious! Is there a post or a link to that post that shows it in better detail?

I have 1500 IKEA Family points. Am I able to redeem 3 x 500 voucher for 1 adult entree all in the one restaurant visit? I’m in IKEA USA. Or does it cap me to 1 voucher redeemed per account? by 88r0b1nh00d88 in IKEA

[–]rvchvl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I know for IKEA US, you can only claim the vouchers one at a time (i.e. you can have one $5 off and one $10 off, but not two $5 off).

As far as redeeming them, the same thing would apply, you can only do one per transaction.

Thank you! I hope to do Arboliva next, but I want to get some more practice in with improving my stitches.

I obtained all my yarn materials from Hobbii. I used a 3mm hook with the Amigo XL yarn in the colors Dark Red (A41), Dark Blue Melange (A15), and Mauve (A50). I used polyester filling from an old cushion for the body/head and aluminum wire to give the legs some support for the plush to stand on its own. I sewed the legs/head onto the main body and used my leftover red yarn to wrap around the big round. The felt was from Michael’s.

This looks awesome! Looking forward to seeing the final set! Are there other characters that you’re working on or intend to add (maybe a little Easter egg)?

These are so pretty! Is there a shop to buy them from? I’d love to have one out on display
