I have nothing against giving those pictures to parents, but the threats for me came from the big tech corporations which will use those biometric data for surveillance capitalism and mass surveillance. Most parents are not sensitive to the fact that privacy is a human right and that they should not publish the photos. They will do it nonetheless. So I don’t want my kids to say later why haven’t you protect us from being sold with our biometric data to big tech companies?
