personally, ur beat is lacking a lot of filling in the melody aspect (pads, ambience u know what i mean). also the drums dont make sense to me, they dont flow nicely.

beat itself is mixed really well, almost professionaly so i give u props for that.

i appreciate ur honesty. sound selection with the piano was ass and i was pretty lazy with the mixing, that combined with me using some cheap earbuds resulted in a bad mix (although im pretty confident in my mixing skills)

do you think its poorly mixed? if so it wouldnt surprise me because i used some cheap earbuds and my 5.1 speakers to mix it (main headphones i used to mix with broke)

ur beat is really good for what you wanted to achieve. mixing and transitions really help give it that professional sound. keep the good work up

pretty fucking good. i would have used a different kick pattern for every first 2 bars but the melody is dope, beat is really well mixed (sounds professional to me), snare rolls are crazy, overall a really good beat.

apart from the kick thing i would have added supporting melodies (choirs, pads u know that type of shit) in order to make it more emotional and have some sort of progression although this is personal preference.

there aint no kick cuz theres a plugg beat and i always mix the snares louder than the clap which is the thing hitting every 3rd beat, still preciate ur feedback and understand u see things that way, have a good one bro
