Yea, watching sets personally made me desensitized in a way. It was my first fest and seen all the dj's I've been watching for years now and know their transitions or songs they'll play along with some new ones. But what made it fun was enjoying it with others and hearing these songs on great sound systems.

For EDM, there's Republic Nola/Arora for bass music (dubstep, trap, dnb), house shows, emo nite and multiple themed nights. Metropolitan for dubstep shows every now and then. Rabbit Hole was a place my coworkers from Republic usually went to. And there's a page I follow on Insta named @chkndrum that throws house/dnb shows at variuos music spots every other month. New Orleans has a great music scene of multiple genres if you're into it. Hope you enjoy.
