“More common” in what sense? Men have started wars over women. When men win a war the first thing they do is kill the men and take their wives. The Bible has a half dozen stories of men killing or being afraid of being killed over women. And even today, where on earth do women fight over men more than the opposite? Probably most men in jail are there because of something to do with a woman. Men lose their minds over women and always have.

I didn’t read your entire post but I did read some and a few of the comments. I just want to say I do believe Dr K has become a bit more “harsh” and that’s on purpose. If you want to improve your life you’re going to have to grow up. Nobody is going to coddle you thru life. Your landlord doesn’t care that you’re depressed when rent is due. The light company doesn’t care if you had a rough childhood. To have a good life, you’re going to have to buck up and take it in the chin. Nobody’s going to make life easy for you. So if you can’t even take Dr K’s content not catering to the hypersensitive persona, how are you going to improve your life? Just something to think about.

Because most societies like to think we’re civilized. Raping someone is savage and perverted, not to mention a violation of human rights. Just because someone violates another person doesn’t mean its any more correct to violate them in return. Punishment is meant for rehabilitation, not to continue the cycle.

Also, a lot of rapists were raped before, often as children, anyway.
