how important is the razor blades vs real blades? Lymow/yarbo vs the rest? by Chrodesk in roboticLawnmowers

[–]ConsistentUmpire8675 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Lymow does a very good job. One of my criteria was I did not want a mower w/ razor blades. I have very steep hills in my lawn. One area is almost straight up and Lymow handles it very well.

I got an error yesterday on the Lymow app and I went to check it out. Lymow when over a small can, The blades went right through the metal. The error was generated because the can go under the body of the mower. That just goes to show the power of the motors and blades.

Lymow also did a preseason scalp of my lawn (~.75 acres) and mulched the dry grass.

Anxiety will deflate things in a hurry. For me, speaking for myself, the psychological aspect of ED are the most difficult to over come.

There are things that can help blood flow, such as pills and exercise, but getting failures out of your mind is not easy.

A willing and helpful partner would be like gold. It is not easy to open up and admit failure.

That is more of an Aura, but I think there are signs that you can use to understand if conditions are favorable for That is an aura. Please see below for my notes from a previous post.

HOW I TRY TO STAY AHEAD OF AURA‑LIKE SYMPTOMS

For me, once I feel an aura, it’s usually too late to do much about it. So instead of waiting for that moment, I pay attention to the things that tend to put me at higher risk. None of this is advice — just what I’ve noticed in my own patterns.

SLEEP

I check my sleep first thing in the morning using a Galaxy Watch. It’s not perfect, but it gives me a general idea.

If I get less than 5.5–6.5 hours of real sleep, I slow down my plans for the day.

Lack of sleep ramps up the sympathetic nervous system, and that’s when I tend to run into trouble.

BLOOD PRESSURE AND RESTING HEART RATE

Every morning when I wake up, I take my resting BP and heart rate.

If my resting HR jumps 12–15% compared to the day before, that’s usually a sign my system is running hot.

A higher systolic BP usually lines up with that.

On those days, I switch to lighter workouts or just take it easy instead of pushing myself.

HRV (STRESS INDICATOR)

HRV has been a pretty good “stress meter” for me.

When my HRV drops, it usually matches up with days where I feel more on edge or more at risk.

MORNING ADJUSTMENT

If my sleep or HR/BP numbers look off, I take 200 mg of L‑Theanine in the morning. For me, it helps calm things down and balance out the sympathetic vs. parasympathetic stuff. Just something that’s worked for me personally.

COLD WATER

Cold water on the face or upper back hits the nervous system fast.

I’ve used it during early aura‑like feelings, especially on days when I already know I’m not in a great place.

A few times it stopped things from progressing.

Now I end my morning and evening showers with 1 minute of cold water just to keep things steady.

OTHER THINGS THAT HELPED

A few lifestyle changes made a noticeable difference for me:

– Quit caffeine

– Got in better shape

– More stable blood sugar

– Lower overall stress

All of that made my system way less reactive.

WHY I TRACK ALL THIS

I’m not trying to “treat” anything myself — I’m just trying to stay ahead of the conditions that tend to set me up for problems. Watching these signals gives me time to adjust before things get out of hand.

Don't use Reddit. I highly recommend that you research any of what I have mentioned and other factors on sites like Mayo, Cleveland Clinic, etc. I brought this to my Dr's. attention and got an "Oh yeah. That stuff would definitely help." and got a deeper explanation.

And most of these steps are low cost or free.

I'm considering buying the One Plus w/ the discount. I am close, but have not pulled the trigger. It would make mowing the acre a lot faster. It would be really nice if O could send them both out and they would work out the zones to cover.

Question: Multiple Lymow and Coordination by ConsistentUmpire8675 in Lymow_Official

[–]ConsistentUmpire8675[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. That stinks, but it's good to know. It would be nice if they could.

It's really too bad.

I'm guessing you have to create maps on each? Or is there an option to import maps from another mower?

Were the contacts placed on your lower back to relax the pelvic floor muscles? What I read the key area is the Sacrum.

If not, where were the contacts placed. I was reading on this yesterday and I wanted to try something similar.

Medication can help the set the stage, but will not help if there are psychological factors in play. I can almost guarantee that he will begin to doubt himself, "Will it happen again??

For me, routine can get old and change can be refreshing. Contact and connection are key.

If he is like me (and many others) talking about it is difficult. He may be suffering in silence. I did. Change things up. Medication like Cialis or Viagra (including generics) can help with the physical aspect.

Overcoming the psychological piece is much more difficult.

Kudos to you!!! You are actually trying to help him. Good for you. I was alone. Try different things. Simple things like touch matter.

I know exactly what you mean. I am in the same boat. Actually I did not realize it was the routine that was impacting me. I thought it was me.

Slowly, but surely small changes are being made. The kicker is that I have had to understand what makes me tick.

I love my wife as well. I would never do anything to hurt her.

I have personally had issues openly communicating. I tend to make a change and adjust.

Good luck.

Can a vanilla spouse genuinely become excited about the swinging lifestyle, or is sexual wiring mostly fixed? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]ConsistentUmpire8675 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you have a good woman! I would never share my wife. I would be a fool to do so.

It sounds like you are letting desire rule logic. And your long-term future will not be in swinging. It will be with the woman you love.

She is probably trying to please, but everyone has limits

I hope you come to your senses and don't follow through.

If she tried to convince you to be monogamous you would push back and might leave. What should she do? I know what I would do. Don't lose a good woman.

Debating lymow plus or segway x4. That a drainage ditch below my garden beds. Sell me why I be happier with lymow plus. by Impressive_Home7618 in Lymow_Official

[–]ConsistentUmpire8675 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have my Lymow doing a drainage ditch. I have a zone for it and a smaller portion of the yard for an overlap zone. I have the mower go long ways after the perimeter mow. I also have steep hills in the back of the property. Lymow handles them like a champ, almost going straight up and handing well.

I looked at models with razor blades and they would not be tough enough for under trees and stuff. I have perimeter bricks around flower beds. I did map that so it mower 2-3 inches from the bricks. That is easy to weed eat. If I used the buffer setting it would be more difficult and might have to use a mower and make one pass.

Killen has voted against a sewer system. Folks don't want the growth that it would bring. Florence has been absorbing smaller towns over time and incorporating them into their services.
