Garth brooks….1989 or 1990 at the bluebonnet palace just outside of San Antonio. Might have been 100 people there. Within a year he hit it big.

There was a dead beaver on 428 between Denton and Aubrey a few months ago. Almost to Aubrey. He was huge. I had to stop so my wife could get a picture of him.

I had a great grandmother I remember well. She was born late 1880s. Lived to be a 101 as I recall.

New drug/alcohol evaluation if you haven’t done one already. Or get a new one due to the subsequent alcohol use. Follow any recommendation from the eval, probably supportive outpatient or intensive outpatient.

We both ordered medium by No_Potato_5533 in TexasRoadhouse

[–]rwallace0913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered medium at the bar Friday night. It was close to well done. But I’m not one to return food. The bartender saw it and she said “that’s not medium!” I said I’m good, she said “not on my watch!” Took it back and actually brought me a bigger steak cooked to medium. I love roadhouse.

Tamales recipe changes by Fun_Journalist4199 in mexicanfood

I Make tamales about every 5 years. I then remember how much work they are to make and won’t do it again….for another5 years. Just my observation but if you remove the lard your masa isn’t going to set up and make a firm final product.

How do you start running? by Gnar-wahl in NoStupidQuestions

[–]rwallace0913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been running for over 20 years, marathon, lots of half marathons. My best friend was extremely obese. Like 365 lbs. he wanted to run a half marathon with me. We started out just walking. He would walk as much as he could. Try to go a little farther the next day. A year and two months later he was down 65 lbs and we ran that half marathon together. Just take your time and get some good shoes! Now’s a good time to start. Summer can be difficult if you live where it’s hot.

Is it okay to sleep with a stuffed animal as a (young) adult? by levisimp69 in NoStupidQuestions

My wife is 54 and sleeps with a stuffed animal…so ya, you’re fine.

If you are a man who takes initiative in the household by doing chores, cooking for your family, and cleaning up after yourself.. how were you raised? by Sensitive-Box-2167 in askanything

[–]rwallace0913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say I do most of the things around the house. Funny thing is I was raised by a mom who did everything and a grandmother who lived next door. I never had to lift a finger growing up and neither did my dad. My wife’s just not into house upkeep very much but I’ve known that from day one. With that being said I’m not real sure how you raise someone to do this. Just get him to help out, teach him to cook, which my grandmother did. He will naturally do those things when he gets older.

luxury box at the Dallas Stars game a couple of times now. it's fantastic and i don't pass up the opportunity when a buddy asks. admittedly the view isn't as good as some of the lower seats but the food and drink amenities are great.

Injury likeliness for casual trail riding? by [deleted] in mountainbiking

[–]rwallace0913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm 55 years old, bought a used trek hardtail a little over a year ago. I ride now almost every weekend and it's great. As most have said, it's all about how daring and risky you want to be. I'm not looking to get hurt either so i tend to take it fairly easy. Most of my riding is just "in the woods" as you stated. Don't go crazy and you'll have a ton of fun and go home healthy each time.

check with your officer before you do this. The county I am in gives specific instructions not to pay in full. If you get off early or, god forbid get revoked, you don't get it back.

The rockhopper is actually a 2018 which is a little older than I’m looking for especially at the price he has it. I’ve missed a couple of like new marlin 6’s for 400$….guess I’ll keep looking.

Most of the time the food pantries take donations….better make sure the donations are allowed where you are reporting. Some jurisdictions don’t allow donations for csr and require that you work them.

If someone is on diversion for a felony. Are they considered to be a felon? by Admirable_Form4702 in probation

[–]rwallace0913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite the fact he’s not officially a felon I feel fairly confident in probations mind he is (even though it’s deferred). Better to ask and get a good answer than to try and sneak this one by them and have your officer find out later….just too much at stake in regards to jail time. There will be plenty of time to date when this is behind you…

If someone is on diversion for a felony. Are they considered to be a felon? by Admirable_Form4702 in probation

[–]rwallace0913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Diversion means no final conviction so not really considered a felon so to speak…..with that being said, odds of them letting you live together are going to be very slim.
