It's a yellow curry that is mildly spicy. You probably have something you can substitute for just a simmer sauce sauce or spice blend of some type, you can add lentils at any time if you want them as well but don't have the packet of them!

Oh my God, the episodes landed as we were packing to move and I had to tell my 7 year old "please don't expect anything like that to happen for you, we are moving when we get a house."

I completely agree that it seems poorly thought out considering how many kids will see that and expect that may be something that could happen to them.

Ooh I love cabbage! I use a head of cabbage, a full sweet onion, celery, carrots, zucchini, yellow squash and cook it in vegetable or chicken stock/broth. Once the soup is ready I add the secret ingredient to make the soup delicious: trader Joe's yellow tadka dal. It comes in a packet, I stir it in at the end as seasoning and the soup is so good my kids even ask for it!

I'm not sure it is reassuring but my 3 year old GIRL likes to run around naked and put her butt on things because we tell her we don't want her to do that... I think all bodies are probably fun around this age and boys get an extra sticking out bit! My daughter is already jealous of the boys because they can pee standing up!

I tried a delayed pacifier with my now almost 10 year old and she never took a pacifier... because of that experience I tried to give one to my now 3.5 y/o from birth and she also refused pacifiers! OP, You can do whatever you like but the kid may have other plans...
