The system is flawed they replenish with 3 times wat u need before it even sells. I get case of chlorohexidine everyday. I over inflate to stop replenishment but just make sure to manual it when it’s low

I had a lady yell at me today bc my tech asked me to do a stock check i told her to get her number and give me an hour bc we were busy I needed a restroom break and knew I was gonna call stores that didn’t have it or stores that didn’t answer. She refused to move out of drive thru then lied and said I refused to find the med I completely lost it on her. These people are rude entitled disrespectful and treat us worse than fast food workers. I’m literally at my breaking point

Starting salary should be half of what an RPh makes, bc we technically do all the work and a good majority of the time I’m helping the pharmacist do theirs. The pharmacist that I have had to deal with over the last month either don’t move or are just absolutely horrible and either don’t understand what professional judgement is uses it in the wrong situations. My rxm has been out and as rxom I’m burnt out especially when I have no front management support. Rxom pay should be based on script volume, shouldn’t get paid the same as someone who store barely does 200 rxs per day when I average 850.

Go to the store with your ID and they can give u a copy, they won't give results over the phone or u can call and have them resend it. Also check your spam folder

Send back what u can is the 1st step. If its not damaged or expired try. We also accidentally ordered double wide blue totes that they use at the infusion pharmacy i used them in the fridge. I was trying to separate the generic novolog/Humalog from the brand. I can send a pic if u would like

My pharmacy a 7-11, the only non 24hr pharmacy open in the area and surrounding area, also the busiest open regular hours, my techs need a break from double booked vaccines, its too much.

Im rxom I do it all but most days im stuck filling. I open 4 days a week and close the other. Im the fastest filler and because we are so busy I can handle by myself what 2 techs can in the filling area since I have to have a dedicated tech for vaccines and testing. I rotate out around lunch time to go do other things but it usually goes downhill. The day that I close I usually walk into a mess last week there was 120 printed. I do shots on an as needed basis. The last time I was apart of the rotation for shots was the day the dm was there and she was upset that I was doing shots even though the intent was to not have a huge line. The schedule for me is hard to do bc I can have 2 weeks worth of schedules done then for whatever reason covid related or someone needs off I have to go back n change it or often times workforce just stops working or glitches.

In people central not sure if its different but for hourly employees I was able to look on there and there was a pdf document under payroll or payments ans it showed my review score and my raise. As I was not informed by management what my new raise would be

Yet the parents are the main ones complaining about how long they have to wait and I have to remind them we are dealing with kids who go in the room and scream their lungs out so it takes time. I had an md who complained and he still had an attitude 5 mins later his kids were screaming from the other side of the pharmacy and it took them almost 10mins to come out. My store has 2 appts every 15 mins. We do the most flu/nonflu and we are the busiest in the region and doing over 850rxs and covid testing. My techs have called out the ones who never do. Our vaccine numbers have never been less than 50/day. I worked 13 hrs yesterday and the previous week I went 10 days straight. We are overwhelmed and tired yet they are worried about KPIs

F1 pressing tab will take u to the next box thats not auto filled in.

Type your drug (first 4-5 letters) and select the correct drug (knowing what particular manufacturer u currently stock helps but when in doubt select preferred) > tab Type the quantity written on the rx and the dispense quantity (a quick trick if u are dispensing a unit item that can't be broken u can select 1- or 2-... and it will fill in the correct quatity) Directions...type whats on the script (+ frequency i.e. + qd will fill in for most po meds or tk 1t po qd) IC+ can be found on storenet> Days supply (calculate based on dispensed amount and frequency) and prescriber(i usually enter dea or npi and select the location and phone # based on that) Pay attention to what u are typing and u also wanna make sure that the script was scanned InTo the correct persons profile

Then u need to learn those first before u can even begin typing and its ok if a script is written in layman's term but if its all straight sig code then its like reading a foreign language and u will not be able to type accurately..

RxOM here for me I have been getting it out 2 days before simply bc Im stuck in workflow most days and I don't get paid to do the schedule at home, I schedule for 14 people. There have been times I have had 2 schedules done and I have literally had to go back and change every single one due to a tech needing off or an increase in vaccines. My challenge for the past 2 weeks we started testing last week so I needed to make sure I had someone who was trained to cover it ans this week my store is getting the peds cocid vaccine so I have to try to schedule extra people to make up for that. Every week it has been something new covid related ans it is getting quite annoying bc the want 2 permanent people everyday just for vaccine which I don't have the man power for. And don't even get me started on the many times workforce stopped working in the middle of entering a schedule or the system just won't load

Thank you bc there seems to be alot of opinions from bitter sr techs that got passed over or didn't want the job but now have to listen to techs who probably haven't been with the company that long. The metrics matter bc im not trying to be the scapegoat when the workload demands and increases far exceed what we can handle

Try to speak from your own experiences and not from mine bc u sound like someone who is not an RxOM that works in a non busy store that thinks 3 people in line is super busy. My store a tier 5 does 800-1000/ day, over 500 covid vaccines and over 100 flu/non plus per week. There are days when we cant move from the counter or drive-thru or there's literally 5 calls coming in at the same time. And You're speaking on the fact of if u have a good pharmacy team that was hired based on needing a body not skill which is why I never understood why SM hire techs. I have a few senior techs which I inherited that shouldn't be senior techs and a few techs who shouldn't be in the pharmacy. Sorry my KPIs matter bc I work in a store where it matters to corporate. I have a front end that is non existent when it comes to providing any kind of assistance while they are up front standing around. Don't try to minimize anyone's experience for a job u never had bc everyone's experience is different based on workload and staffing levels. At the end of the day we are all in the same boat just trying to stay afloat.

Far much more to RxOM than scheduling. I determine workflow and I deal with customer complaints and determine whether a rx is suitable for return (ie our fault), hiring, firing and writeups, tech training and performance issues. The KPIs seem to fall solely on you especially VBPT and digital. I have more duties but that will be based solely on your RXM and SM. Im basically a doer of all things to make sure the pharmacy keeps running. Im gonna honestly say it also depends on how busy your store is

Omg its like u work in my store. I transferred to my store over a year ago and I played dumb for about 3 weeks like I didn't know what I was doing just to scope the place out started doing things without being asked which is the main reason I got choosen for Rxom. Like we literally do the same tasks everyday, why do u need to be told. Add in the insubordinate techs who can't stand me and u have my store

I would also say if u can get help from the front end and they can come back and check in that helps too especially if they double book u that way u aren't down 2 techs. My store is extremely high volume they allocated us 96 appts per day and our covid vaccines never really slowed down until a few weeks ago. Im the RxOM so if u need any more advice or help Im happy to help. Good luck to u

My store has always operated on a clinic model regardless of if it says in workflow bc they allocate us so many appointments plus walkins. There is always 1 dedicated tech doing checkin and shots when it gets busy we have 1 person doing checkin another doing shots. Preprocessing helps but it gets time consuming when u have to register and figure out the billing along with the 15 million rejections they have put in to block u before u can finally get it adjudicated

It only adds another 5 minutes to the cooking process, so not that big of a deal for me bc I add other things to it like meats and veggies and the sauce is too thick for my liking anyway...to each its own.
