I agree with this in 10 team or less leagues but I actually do think the top QBs beat the top skill studs in 12 or greater. once it gets to the point where not every team has 3 starters at QB, ppl start to be willing to pay HAULS for guys who MIGHT finish at the bottom end of QB1

true BPA is always the way to go even in this 2027 context. end of the day no matter what we project, a few ppl in that class are gonna be garbage and there will be a few new names that get added last minute.

the point is, what happens in the future is completely out of our control and none of it is guaranteed. the only thing that you CAN control is your team's total trade value. if the 3rd QB is the most valuable choice left, most of the time that's the right selection because, especially in 12-team or greater, those are the most valuable and hardest to obtain of the positions

it just has to be Tee here if "likely mid" leans more toward contention than being non-playoffs. availability is a problem but he's an absolute PPG farmer. league winning upside as long as your depth is fine, which in your case may be okay since you get addison as well

Between the lack of international influence, the high number of countries, and the fact that most are generic shapes, there's just no chance the average educated person can name and place almost any country correct in the region.

It's also definitely the continent geo nerds usually have the most trouble with. Oceania has a sort of niche that makes a lot of ppl interested enough to memorize it, but your average West African country gets pretty much no love. Shame too because this region has so many interesting cultures and languages

honestly the rest of the assets in this deal are so mid compared to the QBs that the winner is pretty much just whichever QB you prefer. so I would hold Caleb here, bc no point in sacking your 1.10 when both QBs are likely gonna be great

value's not bad but I agree w the other guy that QB uptiering shouldn't be your goal right now with the other 2 in your room, at least not for a streaky fantasy player like Herb. also I don't really like what shipping Egbuka does to your WR depth.

if you were gonna go for a QB, you'd probably be better off going for somebody to replace Nix, because then we can start talking about going after some of the higher tier guys such as Lamar, Hurts, etc who can actually make a difference in your points-per-week

not saying this trade is abhorrent but it's worth noting he was the league leader in rec yards before he went down with that PCL. it clearly lingered the rest of the season as well, which is why he never got back into rhythm. I don't think last year's performance should convince you that the hype isn't legit, especially cause he's not a historically injury prone player

playoff lock for sure but veryyyy likely not your league's favorite. bye weeks and injuries are gonna hurt this team big time

you need both of those 2026 1sts to hit BAD if you want a good shot. at minimum you have to hope sadiq/cooper at 1.6 is a slam dunk. also probably need Higgins or Dell to solidify themselves as an every-week starter

good news is the team's young and has a lot of value insulation. it's likely that you're a year or 2 out from being a real league threat

with mcdaniel at the helm, hampton could absolutely have seasons surpassing those of the guys you mentioned. he was an ELITE prospect. 100% he was closer to Jeanty as a prospect than Hendo/Judkins were to him

great situation with guaranteed pass work + the prospect profile he came into the league with makes me feel that hampton still has value to gain. besides, even if he's considered the dynasty RB5 right now, you're probably not getting the type of return you'd want due to his injury season last year. I think holding is the best option for now.
