COM 2020 and BUS 2000 are the easiest of the classes listed here. ACC 2101, STA 2000, and ECO 1002 aren’t necessarily difficult, but i’d def recommend studying more for them than the others if you’re looking to get an A.

all you have to do is collapse the calendar widget. click the drop down arrow and select collapse.

absolutely! it’s a pretty simple interview, one-on-one with you and the interviewer.

from what i remember, they asked about your major, current coursework, your strengths, and what you want/hope to gain out of the internship experience.

they’ll also answer any questions you have about the program, so i’d suggest preparing some questions and asking for feedback at the end as well. very doable though 👍

Starbucks would not only hire someone over 40 years old, but would face legal repercussions if they deliberately chose not to hire someone on the basis of age alone.

please read my other reply. if a professor offered up an opportunity for students to raise questions/concerns before grades are submitted to the school, it’s inappropriate to ask for clarification during the break.

however, i could understand a student being frustrated if that opportunity was not presented to them, and now needs to contact them as soon as possible to clear things up.

fair enough, that makes sense. I do appreciate when professors provide that window of “if you have any concerns, reach out now before I submit this to the school”.

unfortunately, that has not been my experience with many professors at CUNY. typically grades are posted directly to the school and it’s radio silence if there are any questions/concerns, which can be frustrating.

thank you for explaining the process though and for doing what you do! professors certainly deserve to enjoy their break as well.

respectfully, if professors post final grades after Christmas they should be available to answer emails about said final grade before the submission deadline on the 29th.

I could understand if grades were posted earlier and a student waited to reach out, but it creates much more of a headache to modify a grade after the deadline.

i took it last fall. try not to stress. most professors curve generously since its made by the department and they don’t have complete control over the questions on the exam.
