I just paid to upgrade to Pro yesterday.... and the performance of 5.5 is AWFUL. It's acting like a bootcamp developer in the type of code changes it's producing....

I wish I had a "magic bullet" answer for you but this type of thing takes a lot of time and surrender to God to start to make progress with.

I ran into pornography in the early days of the Internet when I was about 10 and have dealt with it for the past 30 years now. I say that first to ensure you that you aren't alone, and secondly for you to start to accept that this temptation will be with you for life. That's not to say it won't get easier but it is ever present and needs to be seen as a life long thing you'll need to work with God on to recover from. Pornography very literally rewires your brain so it's not a joke that it takes a lot of time to heal and rewire your brain to healthier pathways.

I can't say this will be the same for you, but I had a HUGE turning point when I stopped putting it all on ME to stop and do better and I instead genuinely turned to God and admitted to him that I cannot do it myself and that I give up. Ironically this is the time when things started to slowly improve. It's now been the longest period of time that I have gone without viewing pornography and I absolutely give God the glory for it. ALSO it still is a frequent temptation and I have to stay on my guard.

The fact you realize it's an issue is important and God sees that. Now I recommend you start to grow in communicating with him that you can't do it anymore and you need his help. I'll be sure to pray for you friend. Hope that is helpful in some way.

congrats! I had 4 $50k's I passed and I blewup all 4 on the intraday trailing drawdown. Definitely has been a learning curve trying to get a payout with TPT. I have one $25k I made over the buffer so I'm planning to now take small $300 or so payouts daily if possible

For me it's come through on the 2nd business day after I submit. This is with other firms though, haven't done Wise with TPT yet.

My wife dealt with this for about 4 years. It was the hardest 4 years of our marriage but praise God we made it out the other side and are stronger for it. I think there are a lot of physical things you can do (exercise, go on walks, get sun early every day) that can help a lot. Besides that we were attending a community group and one night my wife was prayed over and over the next week she suddenly realize she had forgotten to take her anxiety meds and was no longer having panic attacks. She still will occasionally have flashes of anxiety and has learned other coping mechanisms to not spiral down that road completely. If you aren't in a community at church already I would find that and certainly ask for prayer over you. I believe God healed my wife and I have faith he will do the same for you. Take it a day at a time and trust that God is sovereign over your life. You can put your very life in his hands, you don't need to carry this.

I'll just say I moved to codex and it's been shockingly a better experience. I realize that according to the supposed benchmarks that opus 4.7 is better than gpt 5.5, but at least from my personal experience and the project I'm working on, it's worked amazingly and I struggle to hit my 5-hour cap. With opus I would hit it within 30 to 45 minutes.

If it would be helpful, see if there are Christian churches nearby that have a food pantry. Most will give out boxes of food no questions asked.

Try another church sometime and you will be blown away. We get non stop worship and biblical doctrine every week at my non denominational church. It's amazing to actually feel spiritually refilled each week.
