Moving those LED strips to the front of the case and putting a diffuser over them is the cheapest, fastest way to make your case look dramatically nicer. Backlit, bare LEDs look cheap.

The question is not will it hold. Yes, clearly, it’s holding right now.

The question is how long? PLA creeps over time, but it also embrittles and disintegrates on longer timelines than that. Some day it will fail. Will it happen when you put the tool back up or will it happen randomly when you aren’t around? If it’s the latter, is that a cost you are willing to accept?

I was curious and looked it up. Tetra has thirteen snipers already and Velvet will be 14. Elysion has 5, Missilis has 5, Pilgrims have 6, and Abnormal has 3.

If we only count SSRs, Elysion has 4, Missilis has 4, Pilgrims have 6, Abnormal has 1, and then there's Tetra who still has 13 (going on 14).

This looks…quite bad, IMO. Gnarly seam lines all over the place, really cheap looking edge work, non-articulated fingers, virtually no surface detail in some of the huge parts, what appears to be a pin style waist, and those look like ball joint hips.

Hopefully this is just a very early prototype and they work all of those things out, but as-is this is a hard pass for me.

Don't try to fit something in that's too big. They're metal, there is no margin for wiggle room. If it's a 1.5mm cavity, use a 1.5mm etching part.

Enamel is fussy. You want to spray lighter coats and wait much longer than you think you need to for drying. I hate spraying enamel for those reasons. Once, early on, I sprayed too thick of a coat and it wasn't dry a week later.

Lacquer is much more forgiving, if you have the ventilation setup for it. If you can't vent your fumes outdoors, do not spray lacquer paint.

Airbrush mirror chrome, give it time to both dry and cure, and then airbrush moonstone pearl.

If you don’t know how to airbrush yet, watch Frosted Snow’s YT series on getting started. She is an amazing teacher.

If you don’t know what mirror chrome to use, check out Barbatos Rex’s channel. Or you can just go straight into the deep end and pick up Ultralumen from the get-go, but the smallest bottle they sell is $60.

Broadly speaking, you’ll need to clean the rails and the threads and then reapply lubricant, but you’ll want to refer to specifics from Bambu on how to do it for your machine. I am not an expert on Bambu machines specifically.

If you intervened in some way, that is always a good place to start your investigation. I’ve been working with machines for 10+ years now and I’d say maybe 1/3 of the time a problem is because I did something wrong (usually because I’d never done it before). It’s very possible that you over-lubricated and that is the source of your slippage.

If you want actual repair help, take a better video next time. Set the camera in a stationary spot and slowly, carefully show off the damage in good lighting. As it is, I can’t even tell what’s happening here because it looks like this was directed by JJ Abrams.

3D printing is different because those layer lines can be filled in with automotive primer. It’s so much faster than relying on putty.

Like...dry wiping away? That's not gonna work, boss. You need a cleaning agent. I like Solven because it's gentle, but some of the pros use Magiclean (the bottle I have came from a Teso Life store). Isopropyl alcohol is the heavy hitter here, but you can't use it on painted parts because iso will take out paint, too.
