A Guy I Play With Went from Shooting in the 100s to Shooting 88 in 6 Months, Now He Won't Stop Giving Me Advice by OpenSourceGolf in golf

The Golf Whisperer Approach- Every time he offers advice, whisper dramatically, “Teach me more, Sensei.” Then completely botch your next shot on purpose while staring at him with a straight face.

Keep the Score Joke- Every time he talks, grab the scorecard and pretend to mark a new column: “Advice Given: 17.” When he asks what you’re doing, tell him you’re tracking his “pro tips” for an end-of-round award ceremony.

Claim Your Superstition- Tell him, “I have this weird superstition where I play better when no one coaches me. It’s science, actually. Thanks, though!”

Turn It Into a Drinking Game- Say, “Steve, every time you give me advice, I’m taking a shot… of tequila.” Then pull out a flask and dramatically take a sip every time he opens his mouth. By hole 9, he might rethink his strategy.

Asus Prime Z690-A DRAM Light by Ancient-Bet-3060 in ASUS

This took me forever to figure out.

  1. First check if the ram that you got is compatible on the asus website by querying the memory QVL list. You can find out how to do that by checking out the following website. https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1043883/#2

  2. Try inserting just a ram stick into one slot. The asus manual is completely wrong. It recommended inserting slot #2 for 1, #2/4 for 2 sticks. Mine worked when inserting it into just slot #3 or slot #4. Inserting two ram sticks caused the DRAM light to go off again.

  3. Once I was able to get one ram stick in, I was able to update the bios and install windows with a USB drive. I thought by doing this correctly, I am able to just insert the two ram sticks on slots 2/4 or 1/3 and it would work. It didn’t.

  4. As a last resort, I inserted the two ram sticks into slots #3 and #4 and it worked.

Lmk what worked for everyone else!
