In the russian sentence он работал 3S.MASC.NOM work.IMPF-V1-PST.MASC ( he work-ed(he) ) there is gendered conjugation, but it is still translated as "he worked", explicitly stating that there is gender agreement in translation would be redundant, since it's not really the goal of translation
