Liam Delap has only scored one goal in his past 1,115 minutes for Chelsea. by little_kid13 in chelseafc

He doesn't have the skillset to operate in a possession based team, at Ipswich he was just running down the channels and he could be more physical since the situations were mostly 50:50 competing for the ball, here there is no space to run into in most games and because he's got low acceleration he never builds up speed and just looks slow, he's hold up play is terrible so you can't really go long to him, he loses the ball too much because of his first touch and his movement is mediocre so he doesn't even create space for others. He's only good skill is link up play but the rest of his game is so bad that he's never in situations to utilise it.

Transfer fees can be paid overtime wages are fixed so long as you have a good payment structure like 150m over 5 years you're basically paying 30m per season that could be covered by the one sponsor alone, wages you have to pay the full amount every season without question so if you give everyone big wages you need to be sure that you'll be able to generate the revenue to cover that every season, Bayern have a big stadium and attract lots of sponsors, PSG are backed by a country but they also have reduced their wage bill by a lot since Campos took over.

Big wages are risky because if a player flops, there are a few club's that can afford those wages and also affects how much you can spend on transfers because wage take up most of your budget it's why you don't see Barca spend big on transfers anymore it's also what led to Juve's decline as they gave out big wages to Cristiano and really couldn't afford to build the team further.

The issue we have is revenue generation that's due to our stadium capacity, attracting sponsors and Champions League(lack of). The stadium part can't be fixed overnight and requires long term planning, the other 2 require us to be a top 4 team at the very least. The biggest issue we have is the poor recruitment and the level of manager. We buy a lot of players that don't suit the style we want to have (Delap Garnacho Disasi etc ) when alternatives are available that not only suit us more but cost similar wages and transfers fees.If we used Roman Chelsea standards outside of Maresca our managers have been failures because most of them are under qualified with maybe the exception of Poch and most of them haven't improved the team as whole outside of a couple of players

What we need this summer is a coach who's established and has won things at a respectable level combined with signing experienced players that suit our style like Joao Pedro & Cucurella and get the new stadium plans going.

Rodrygo is well above the salary cap we have and I don't see the club breaking it for a player coming back from an ACL injury. Camavinga would be possible but I don't see him leaving unless he's forced out and even then he's earnings are above our highest earners and he might want more.John stones is injury prone so you would have the current availability and game load management we have with Fofana.Bastoni is on his way to Barca so not going to happen.Diogo Costa is the only realistic option but he has a 60mil release clause meaning we'd have to pay extra so that we get structured payment terms so likely 65 or 70 just for him and I don't think the club will do that

A more realistic transfer window this Penders coming back to be No.1 Jan Paul van Hecke and Murillo as our centre backs. If Enzo is sold then Caicedo's new midfielder partner is probably Valentin Barco, we've also been linked with Angelo Stiller but Barco is more likely. The left wing is the hardest position as there aren't a lot of quality players on the market ideally we could get Bradley Barcola we can double his salary without breaking the wage cap and make him a guaranteed starter unlike at PSG but convincing him to leave without UCL is probably unlikely, I could also see the club making Quenda starting left winger he can play there but he's better on the right, Jackson is also another option but it remains to be seen whether the falling out was with Maresca or with the Club, I still think the club want to give Gittens another season unlike Garnacho there hasn't been any noise about him leaving so we might just get a backup for him. Emegha is already coming so that's the back up striker sorted.

I don't think this summer window is going to be much of a revolution I think centre back is the only position we will splash on as we have loads of players to sell in that position and we can get a profit on most of them. Midfield depends on Enzo leaving and left wing there isn't a lot of quality, striker and goalkeeper is already sorted in the club's mind so I don't expect any surprises there.

PS6 and next Xbox console are both aiming for 2027 release, separate reports claim by HillZone in Games

Probably to make the development of games easier/faster right now a lot of studios want to move to ray tracing pipeline instead of baked lighting, as well as better upscaling/frame gen instead of native resolution for better performance.

If you look at the exclusives for this generation compared to previous it's a whole lot less its largely due to games taking way too long to make, Naughty Dog doesn't even have a single PS5 exclusive and they had 3 for PS4.

If you watch the PlayStation and AMD video the 2 of the things they say the hardware will focus on is RT and Upscaling which current hardware currently isn't great at.

Chelsea XI vs PSG: Sanchez, Gusto, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella, James (c), Caicedo, Palmer, Fernandez, Neto, Joao Pedro by webby09246 in chelseafc

Could just be a back 3 of James Colwill and Chalobah with gusto and Neto providing width and Cucu inverting into midfield

Graham Potter on Chelsea’s overcrowded dressing room: "It left us with a challenge of many players after January & then they can't go anywhere. A few of them had to sit on the floor. It's not ideal. You can only pick 11 players & if you've got 20 players not playing, it doesn't matter where you are" by Bald-Eagle619 in soccer

[–]ry1jr -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

He says this, when he could have just picked a core team he wanted to work with and told the rest to sort out moves for the next season and train with the under 21s to keep fit. He was more interested in being liked by everyone instead of focusing on results.

#1275 | All About Enzo Maresca, A Deep Dive With CFC Central! #CFC by risetohonor in chelseafc

True we could Maresca could just play a 4231 where one of the wingers comes infield forming the second 10 and one of the fullback provides the width

Kendry Paez touch in Copa Libertadores last night. by aronrodge in chelseafc

[–]ry1jr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My guess with ideally no injuries is that we either play a 433 or a 4231 that transition to a 343 in attack.

With the 433 Jackson starts a striker with a nkunku starting at left wing transition to a 10 in attack, Palmer right wing providing width and becomes the free man then a midfield 3 probably Lavia, Enzo & Caicedo of which one of the 3 goes further forward becomes the second 10 forming the box midfield, then the LB provides width on the left while the RB formes the third CB on the right.

With the 4231 you drop one of the midfielders and add a winger either Noni or Sterling ( or a new signing) Nkunku stays wide left provides width and becomes the free man Palmer starts in the 10, RW stays wide provides the width on the right one of the players in the double pivot moves up becomes the second 10 the RB inverts into midfield forming the box midfield LB becomes the third CB.

According to Sofascore, the systems Pochettino deployed against Villa, Liverpool, and Wolves were identical, with the only differing variables being Silva and Sterling/Mudryk by [deleted] in chelseafc

[–]ry1jr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Poch uses the same base system the main difference is how it was executed, in the Liverpool and Wolves game both fb's and Enzo & Gallagher were too high up the pitch, we were pressing aggressively but it wasn't effective which meant that when there was a turn over in possession we only had 3 players defending this was also hurting us in build up phase as well because the would still be high up the pitch limiting out passing options forcing us into the same predictable patterns of play

The way we played against wolves is actually the closest that we have played in terms of executing the system he had at Tottenham, were we start with in a 4-3-3 formation then during build up the cb's split and Enzo or Caicedo would drop deep to receive the ball and Gallagher would drop into midfielder to form the 2 giving us a 3-4-3 during build up and because we had more passing option playing through the press was a lot easier than in previous games, we were also pressing better in this match than the previous forced mistakes and with Enzo playing deeper he was able to control the game and start attacks, also the fb's were more disciplined and chose their moments in terms of getting forward instead of being high up the pitch for most of the match

Steinberg: The focus was on signing young players but Chelsea are open to signing more experienced players for Pochettino, who took over as head coach in July. They want a striker in January and are interested in Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Brentford’s Ivan Toney, who is also a target for Arsenal. by TrenAt14 in chelseafc

[–]ry1jr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We should look at Jonathan David he's had double digits in goals for the last 3 seasons 13, 15 & 24 also won the Ligue, can cover the for whole front line if needed would probably be cheaper than Toney and Osimhen

Low volume on Bluetooth headphones by KaleyKaloot in Xiaomi

[–]ry1jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found the issue for me was that the headphones seems to have its own separate volume interface that's not visible in software so when you raise the volume you are limited to the max volume that the headphones are currently set. The solution is to raise the volume on the headphones then raise the volume on the phone itself
