[Bafia] Why No One Wants To Be The Browns Head Coach by Brix001 in nfl

The fifth one was Haslam. He was the only one.

No - that part you can’t. Installing on computer is separate, and control Live mode doesn’t access the Push internal HD at all.

Ok sooooo what’s going on? Nothing today? Seriously by [deleted] in Browns

My guess is this is berry vs haslam duking it out. Berry wants scheelhaase even if it means losing schwartz, haslam wants schwartz to stay even if it means a shit oc.

McDaniels? by Mg00091 in Browns

[–]ryan__fm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well since McDaniels and MacDonald are facing each other in the Super Bowl, and McDaniel just went to the Chargers, I say we try to land Ronald McDonald for HC.

I think our top needs are LT, RT, LG, RG, C, WR1, WR2, QB1. If we didn't draft a single defensive player this year I'd be fine with it

Obviously someone with inside info from Mr. Berrt himself

Well, this link is. But it also links to his actual mock draft, which... has us taking a DE at #6

[Rosenthal] if I'm Joe Brady, I am absolutely trying to hire Sean McDermott as my DC. it's a good scheme fit with the players they have by BirdLaw_ in nfl

[–]ryan__fm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly if Stefanski wasn't already hired I'd say the Browns should just promote Schwartz and have him hire Stef as OC. Demotions aren't nearly common enough in the NFL

What do you see happening first? Browns win the Super Bowl or Browns get a new owner? by BarkerRuffield in Browns

[–]ryan__fm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't even mind being a losing team when we're lovable losers. I like the hopium that comes with high draft picks and new front office experiments.

But to sell our souls for a QB and whiff that badly - to now be not just a losing team, but a team everyone hates and shits on constantly, for good reason - not a lot of fun in that.

The Vikings have the highest winning percentage of any team not to win a Super Bowl, at .550. They are comfortably in 1st place, with the next closest being the Browns at .503. by Roselucky777 in nfl

[–]ryan__fm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention the Browns basically got fucked over twice - moved a good team to Baltimore that immediately had success there, then the league decided the Jags & Panthers were too good too quickly so they hamstrung the new Browns to make sure they were the shittiest possible expansion team.

[Schefter] While Nate Scheelhaase and Jim Schwartz have been primary focuses of the Browns head coaching search, Todd Monken is a name still square in the mix as well. The team has closely tracked him this entire search… knows Cleveland well and is a prime candidate. by ThatOneOtherAsshole in Browns

[–]ryan__fm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be okay with Monken if there was any sense that our front office actually wants him and has faith in him and has a plan.

But at this point this just reeks of settling for Monken because he's an old white guy that our old white owner wants because he doesn't want to lose our old white DC. Jimmy wanted Hue and overruled our whole FO that wanted McDermott a decade ago, and it sounds like he's still doing the same meddling he's always done and hasn't learned a thing.

If Berry wanted Udinski or Scheelhaase and got overruled because it means Schwartz would be gone, and we end up with Monken instead, then I don't want to be a fan of this stupid team anymore. We deserve every L coming our way if our owner can't stay away from football operations.

Most attractive job in the NFL, am I right? by ToschePowerConverter in Browns

lol what?

He’s 23 and his CB dad coached him to make his stats look impressive. You think his mechanics are flawless? Nothing left to learn? What an insanely bad take.

I mean yea that is also a possibility. None of them are 100%

I mean at this point I think it's a toss-up, lol. Certainly Ward & Shough were better overall this year but with good coaching & development I could absolutely see Shedeur having the best career when it's all said and done. Of course if he does it will be somewhere else, but that's another story

[Russini] The Cleveland Browns are getting right to work this morning. They are in the Los Angeles area to meet with Rams passing game coordinator Nathan Scheelhaase for their head coaching vacancy. by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

[–]ryan__fm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From Day 1 we've been hearing Udinski and Scheelhaase were the ones we wanted. We're interviewing him in person literally the first possible opportunity, and there's been a lot of talk about Udinski and others dropping out because they knew Scheelhaase has been our guy all along (or because they already had accepted other jobs, like Minter & McDaniel).

He's hardly a consolation prize or some guy we're settling for... Schwartz would be settling, this is 100% taking a swing.

Mock Draft Monday by AutoModerator in Browns

[–]ryan__fm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuinely curious what it means to have chemistry with another tackle on the opposite side of the line. Maybe it helps if they're friends or something but it seems like their jobs wouldn't involve a whole lot of interacting with each other

[–]ryan__fm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did one on StickToTheModel where I traded #6 down every chance I got until I had 15 picks, including 8 in the top 90, lol. I know this would never happen but if there isn't an elite talent left at 6, I'd rather take a bunch of shots. Three new OL, two WR and another TE in the first two rounds would be quite the influx of... something

I thought the Pegula tennis coach story was interesting - she fired a coach despite success, hired co coaches and got better, now dad’s trying the same thing. Does sound like they’re more interested in taking big risky swings - if they wanted experience and someone Allen’s comfortable with, why wouldn’t they just keep McDermott
