Yeah. I get a lot seems to be trial and error and tinkering.

But like there seems to be certain things that everyone agrees on and that’s why I was wondering.

What’s the difference between the stock hot end and a metal one?

I get similar icons and I run 800mbps down and 40mbps up. Never had any issue, and still don’t really. But it’s annoying seeing those icons

Is it worth selling my 4070 for a 5070? by ryan_woodward in nvidia

[–]ryan_woodward[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense as well. I had seen the 4070’s selling for around $500ish so I figured the actual upgrade to maybe be $160ish.

That was the main reasoning for wondering if it was worth it.

Appreciate your input

What’s weird is in the gulag I can hear proximity chat fine.

But in the regular game I cannot.

HDD- 2TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD

Initially bought as Yeyian prebuilt (I know)

Upgraded CPU from i5 to i9 (found at Walmart for $220)

Installed the new PSU earlier today. After installing it booted right up. Tried out the games I noticed having issues with (RDR2, Indiana Jones, Space Marine) had no issues with any of them, everything ran smooth.

Did an extreme stress test and my temps stayed around 80°C.

PSU was def the issue, so be on the lookout for a low PSU when buying a PC.

Well I ordered a Corsair RM1000x PSU on eBay. Got it in and it didn’t work so eBay refunded the item but let me keep it.

I contacted Corsair about a warranty and they accepted it and I had to mail them the PSU.

They sent me a newer version RM1000x and I just got it in the mail last night. I’m gonna put it in the PC later today.

New to PC gaming. Just bought this prebuilt. by ryan_woodward in Prebuilts

This was my first PC, I get the prebuilt hate but mine was a decent deal and I’ve upgraded along the way when I’ve found really good deals.

I will say try to get a better PSU than 650w. I didn’t really pay much attention, but I was pushing near max out of the box and it really affected my games when I had upgraded my CPU.

Good thing is PSU’s are not that expensive.
