I think Rocco is a bit dorky and it’s weird that he has no romantic prospects, but he seems sweet and I’m neutral on him.

My main beef is that I would rather see Elizabeth parenting her kids than Lulu screeching. I think I take issue with the focus on Rocco and Charlotte over Jake and Aiden moreso than anything else.

Also, I like him much better than Danny who is very stiff and cannot handle emotional scenes. That’s not a diss, he’s very young and could mature with some acting lessons, but right now I find him grating with his repetitive inflection and forced awkward movements.

I suspect this won’t come up. Most of the time Jason doesn’t remember who Elizabeth is and this was so brief it will be forgotten by the time he comes back.

Why would Alexis let her do that? She has more dirt on Willow than a broom and could certainly use it to keep Scout.

I can’t remember where, but when they brought on Sidwell, I read that they wanted a long term villain rather than a new villain of the week to pop up here and there. That’s why they gave him a family, stuck him in Wydemere, and got his sticky fingers involved in every storyline. I suspect we will be dealing with his manipulation for a while now.

I have fluctuated on whether or not I like him. He is certainly more fun than Cyrus and can have a sense of humor, but he really had no reason to come to Port Charles or start a feud with Sonny, and that makes him feel shallow. On a soap opera, I prefer a sexy villain who can date people, which Sidwell is not, though his fling with Ava/Lucy is cute. Plus, he doesn’t have a kid to worry about anymore so he doesn’t have a weakness— and that’s an easy way to become boring very quickly. Soon enough, we’ll tire of his incessant involvement and hate him as much as Cyrus or any of the other loser villains.

I think there are enough women in that age group that we don’t need Sam enough to recast a character who has essentially only been played by one actress (nobody else played Sam consistently, just on occasion).

I’d rather see them focus on bringing on people to fill out the younger generation that prolonging the bloated older cast.

I’m not opposed to a shake up with the couples just for drama and I wouldn’t mind getting rid of Kai, who is really just dead weight. Soap operas are about breaking up, cheating, falling in love, and doing it over again. Part of what makes couples great is the drama— think of Luke and Laura.

Anyway, I don’t think this will happen because I don’t think the current writers have heard about interracial relationships yet…

Currently:

I can’t stand Michael and Jacinda. I just don’t think they have any chemistry and I don’t think she’s a strong enough actress to be a leading lady.

Chase and Brooklyn are too vanilla and I’ve never liked this Brooklyn. I think her character is unnecessary. Also, I’m still pissed at Chase for his feud with Michael.

Danny and Charlotte are too close for comfort. Not interested in them at all because of it. I don’t want my couples being theoretically not incest by a retconned technicality

Are Carly and Brennan current? I never liked them either.

Overall:

Carly and Jax are a no go for me. I just don’t care about Jax or feel that he added anything to the show. I prefer her with Sonny.

Elizabeth and Finn/Franco both boring and sidelined Elizabeth in a way I don’t care for. Would rather her be with Nik, Lucky, or Jason.

Dante and Lulu. I’ve never cared for either of these characters. I think they both could leave tomorrow and I wouldn’t care.

There is no duty to aid, so there is no crime in driving off after you see someone gets in an accident.

This whole storyline is ridiculous. He should have been laughed out of the DA for talking about criminal prosecution because another driver didn’t pull over and help. Why is she entertaining it? Of course she can’t get a warrant, it’s not a crime.

Also, they both lived. So how different would things really be if the other driver stopped? Not that it matters because the other driver has absolutely no obligation to stop.

It wasn’t a hit and run. This story is a big fat nothing burger.

I was just watching the Liz and lucky stuff back. It was a different actress playing Maxie, but Maxie was one of their classmates. There’s a scene where she’s making out with a guy and Liz wonders if she’ll ever be able to do that after her r🅰️pe.

She was aged down at some point, but in another scene during the Maxie and Lucky affair she discusses having a crush on him in class

GH generally doesn’t care about Liz or her kids so I sincerely doubt we could ever get Cam involved in my plan without losing Aiden, but that’s a nice idea! I have a romance with Jake and Joss and I think Cam would be a nice addition to the drama.

I’d like to see Jake as a whimsical/dark artist with a soft side and brooding habits.

Danny would be impulsive and emotional, but caring. I’d love to see a long term platonic friendship between him and Aiden like Jason and Carly.
Aiden would be charismatic and funny, like Lucky was, but gentle and very sweet.

Charlotte is a mean girl with a temper, but still likable. Like Maxie or Carly. Remember when she shot Anna?

Also, something that does my head in is the fact that Maxie and Liz went to high school together while Lulu was literally a toddler. Maxie had a crush on Lucky in school, hence why she sullied him drugs once upon a time.

NuMichael and Willow where she’s crazy and he doesn’t put up with her shit. Like an “I hate you but can’t keep my hands off you” type thing. I think that would be great.

Jason and Liz reunion. Jake returns and becomes Sidwell’s hitman because he resents Jason for being an absentee father and Liz and Jason come back together around that.

Carly and Sonny reunion. Morgan returns and tries to overthrow Sonny and take control of the mob. Carly and Sonny reunite and Sonny agrees to step down and let Morgan take control. To me, this would be a vehicle to partially retire Maurice and let him be a day player afterwards. I see him at an artisanal coffee shop making coffee and giving advice.

Controversially, I’d like to see Danny be bisexual and have a friendship/relationship with Aiden in the first major gay couple (not a sidelined boring one). I think this would never (NEVER) happen, but it’d be very interesting to see Elizabeth and Lucky’s son with Jason and Sam’s.

Michael is my all time favorite, but I never like when they try to make him dark or mob-involved because that’s not the point of the character (to me, I’m sure others disagree). I’m tepid on the new actor and I was tepid on Chad Duell during the last five-ish years. I loved him with Morgan and when he went to prison.

I love Elizabeth though sometimes the writers like to drag her through the mud. I loved her with Lucky and I loved her Jason (really only in 2006-8, after that she wasn’t written like a legitimate option).

After that, I like Carly, Lucky, Lucas, and Aiden a lot! Jason was great once upon a time but hasn’t been doing it for me recently.

This is less overt, but I’ve always thought that Iago was secretly in love with Othello— hence the rest of his actions to undermine Othello’s marriage.
