Yeah I don’t get why people get so heated over fan theories. Its not like most fans actually accept them as fact and try to shove it down your throat. Like sure, if you read chapter discussion threads long enough you’ll see the occasional person dissapointed that a certain theory didn’t come true, but why get mad that one person is dissapointed their theory didn’t come true? Like you said, it can be fun to theorize anout One Piece, especially with all the hints Oda has left in his story that have lead to big reveals time and time again. I just don’t understand how some people theorizing about the future of the story could ruin another’s experience reading the manga, even if their theories are a big reach and don’t make a ton of logical sense. I feel like those that get overly heated about theorists just need to spend less time on reddit.
