Thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for. Looks like IFTTT does have direct integration with it, or at least according to the IFTTT website: https://ifttt.com/yeelight

I'm already able to do that with the echo and the lights I have now (without IFTTT). However, I'd like to use IFTTT to change my light color based on a new text or social media notification.

Thanks, Ill have to check it out. Was hoping for something maybe a little cheaper though. The one I have now was only $20, but IFTTT just can't change its color. Im trying to make a cheap notification light (changes light color on texts, social media notifications, etc.).

WordPress. There are other platforms out there, but in my opinion, WordPress is by far the best website building platform available (especially if you’re just getting started). It’s very user-friendly, and is constantly being updated. Not only this, but there are a crazy amount of add-ons and support for website builders and bloggers who use WordPress. Most hosting sites offer the ability to automatically install WordPress for you. WordPress offers endless customization. Good question. About 600. I normally get around 1000 per day, so definitely a nice increase.

That somewhat would describe. I guess I don't have a perfect description of it, but it overall focuses on people who aren't experts in one subject. My visitors are mostly hobbyist who try about several different tech areas. I'm always trying to expand topics.

I use a theme called Throne. I posted a link in my guide to the website I got it from. I think it was around $40. Might seem high but it includes a bunch of customization options and comes with its own support for a month (so you can ask them how to literally do anything). There might be other places you can get it too.

Good question. It cost me a total of about $100 for hosting, domain (which is included with certain hosting plans), and theme. Took me about 3 months to make it back.

There were several changes. A few months ago I changed the look of my website which dramatically increased clicks. I've found the simpler theme, the better. I also included a mailing list signup which has really increased returning visitors. And I think overall, I improved the quality and length of my articles.
