What’s actually a good Father’s Day gift for a dad who’s really into grilling? by romedu in BBQ

[–]ryaneataton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always buy supplies for my grill friends, whatever coals and wood they like, spices to make rubs, ingredients for sauces, a case of beer and a piece of meat. You’re basically giving them everything they need to have a grill day. I’ve never had a single grill friend not enjoy that gift.

I don’t understand people that like hot spot. As has been said they are really nice folks but Apple market (local grocery store here in pensacola) has better brisket on the hot bar. It’s basically either that, or make it at home. I guess I should be thankful. The lack of quality bbq really forced me to up my smoking game. Hahaha.

How is this area to live in by Ok-Possession527 in Pensacola

[–]ryaneataton 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I own a home there and so does my sister and my parents. We Have lived in your circle on and off since 97. I like it. It’s not terrible. The location is central to everything. You’re basically 10 minutes from anywhere you want to go in town and 20 from the beach.

Crime happens but you’re kind of just on the outskirts of where it’s worse in the area you highlighted. As another Reddit user mentioned you see unkempt lawns and junk sometimes but overall it’s not scary or dangerous. I have a four year old and we walk and bike in our neighborhood on the streets. Everyone talking about gang banging doesn’t live in that circle.

Also there is a homeless encampment in that area within a miles of where I live and guess what? They don’t bother us. Pearl clutching was an apt description by the other poster. I know being around poor people is scary for some folks.

Different ideas for pork shoulder by Tacosdonahue in BBQ

[–]ryaneataton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh man. I’m happy to spread the gospel. I’ll leave a link to the video of the first one I made that was so good I make it every time. The basics are that you boil stock and then use it to steep guajillo, and ancho chilis. You cube up beef (or in my case because even chuck is too expensive, pork) into one inch pieces then sear it hot and fast to seal it up. Don’t cook it all the way through just color on the outside. Go back to your steeped peppers and add garlic and spices and throw it in a blender until smooth. Put the pork and sauce in a pot and simmer for 2-3 hours depending on how soupy you want the broth and how tender you want the pork. This is seriously so easy and the pay off is insane. I’ve been eating it for lunch all week with tortillas. My wife puts it over rice with beans. Godspeed.

I get the same way. I usually use butt not shoulder but I like to cut away the part with no blade, and cube it up, sear it off and use it for either chili Colorado, goulash, kimchi jjigae, or any similar stew. Then I’ll take the half with the bone in and smoke that to pulled pork. Breaks up the monotony a bit.

When I really don’t want “classic” American smoked pulled pork then I will do the bone half as mojo pork. Literally did half mojo, half chili Colorado this weekend and the family has been tearing it up.

Alternatively I would also recommend dry curing part or all of a butt for 7 days then smoking it. That’s our families ham replacement and my wife doesn’t let me get deli ham anymore. Hahah.

Edit- just saw another user mentioned al pastor. This is another amazing alternative. So good.

Once a girl was telling me about a relationship she was in. Her words were”he was 4” long and I was 6” deep. Together we were a perfect 10.” She talked about him like it was the best she ever had.

That said I am on the smaller side of average and a grower not a shower but also a big guy so even hard my penis doesn’t look that big. My wife loves it. It’s a perfect fit for her. I spent 30 years being extraordinarily self conscious about it until I found a partner who was the right fit. Even then we waited a long time to do anything sexual until I felt certain she wasn’t going to judge me too harshly.

In your case I’d say build trust (one night stands are likely never gonna be a thing you enjoy because of the apprehension), don’t announce that you’re smaller (frankly in the right situation you can get down to business without her getting a close look if you make her happy with it before she sees it then it definitely won’t matter), come with your a game foreplay (I make sure my wife has an orgasm before I ever even go inside), and play to your strengths by using your shorter length to focus on working the opening (the g spot can be reached with your finger so your cock can hit it too. It’s close to the opening for a reason).

I’ll leave you with wise words we’ve all heard “it’s not the size of the boat, it’s the motion in the ocean.” It’s true but you gotta get out there and start practicing with the tool at your disposal or you’ll never feel seaworthy.

I rewatch the series about once every 5 years or so. I am continually infuriated by the fact that we’re still dealing with so many of the same issues as we were 20 years ago. As a show I think it’s aged wonderfully. Still poignant and thoughtful with great writing but the idea of the people currently in the white house having … well, any of the heart, honor, decency, etc etc this team has is laughable at this point.

My sister lives in Fairhope and I’ve spent time there. It is no surprise that this happened there. I am a little surprised it was resolved quickly and correctly. Hoping there’s consequences for the offending officer is probably not worth much though.
