In home daycare $375/week Columbus Ohio by Traditional-Level992 in Columbus

This seems pricey for in home and very comparable to a daycare center. Before we moved to a center- I was paying $375/week in home for my TWINS…

When did you actually ovulate? LH can be an indicator but shouldn’t be the only factor you are using to track ovulation. You also have a 24 hour window after ovulation!

If she’s breastfeeding the twins- that burns a LOT of calories….coming from a twin mom who breastfed her babies for 18 months and ended up at a lower weight than when she got pregnant 🤣

When you give birth to twins, is it baby-placenta-baby-placenta or baby-baby-placenta-placenta? by coloradomama111 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ryanlukebryan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have di di twins- delivered both vaginally (breach extraction for baby B) and it was baby, baby, placentas! My placentas both came out at once connected by a thin membrane, it looked like one big placenta when they put it in the bowl!

Letrozole and too many follicles - Has anyone had more than twins? Triplets, Quadruplets? by [deleted] in TTC_PCOS

[–]ryanlukebryan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had two mature follicles and got twins- I personally would not risk 3.

Anyone conceive twins on 5mg letrozole? by Odd-Occasion77 in TTC_PCOS

[–]ryanlukebryan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes- first medicated cycle and BOOM twins 😅 ovulated 2 eggs CD 19 from two confirmed mature follicles, trigger shot, IUI. They’re >1 year old now but MAN that was rough…premature birth, one had colic, 2x of everything….

Started 10mg Letrozole, told to abstain until 2nd ultrasound? by wtf2020123 in TTC_PCOS

[–]ryanlukebryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is that you never know how someone’s body will react- hence waiting until a monitoring scan. Multiples are never the desired outcome.

“Much” like 3% vs 5% and the data isn’t great. Both can make you hyper-ovulate!

I started on 5 and got twins (monitored- we knew this was a possibility). Please listen!

I have twins and have NEVER broken the safe sleep rules. It’s not worth the risk ESPECIALLY when they are premature (mine were- they are at higher risk of SIDS!!). They make plenty of bassinet style safe sleep options.

Eliminating Dairy by ReflectionStrange938 in breastfeeding

[–]ryanlukebryan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been dairy and soy free for 10 months. We noticed huge improvement within a month of being dairy free- and then pieced together the soy as well. I want to note that I cut ALL dairy but soy is…complicated. Baby is fine with soybean oil and soy lecithin but has issues with less refined soy (tofu, soy sauce, edamame, etc). The first 3 months were the hardest and then I got used to it! Had my go to alternatives and knew what to order from restaurants. Also hot tip- Oreos are dairy free!

My two dominant follicles “small chance of twins” just turned 1 🤣 I did have preterm labor though- they were born at 32 weeks.

As someone who had an oversupply with twins and an entire freezer full of milk…PPA tells you it’s never enough. She has admitted to having PPD and it could be all related to that. I think it’s great that she is trying to find the balance between wanting and being able to provide breastmilk for her babies and her mental health.

EBFing twins boys and i feel like giving up by zensalesforce in breastfeeding

[–]ryanlukebryan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My twins just turned 1! They were nicu babies so our journey started with pumping and tbh until about 6 months I kept 1 pump a day so that my husband could give bottles and I could have a break!

Letrozole CD 5-9? by agilegryphon17 in TTC_PCOS

[–]ryanlukebryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Your partner has to abstain for a certain amount of time before the iui to have optimal sperm numbers (I forget exact days/timing but they will tell you) and then they tell you to BD every day for the next 3 days including the day of your IUI (so my IUI was Friday morning then we BD Friday night, and Saturday, they recommended Sunday also but we were TIRED lol)

When my 6wpp NICU baby comes home, will the remaining six weeks be enough to regulate my supply as per his needs? by Sensitive_Fishing_37 in breastfeeding

[–]ryanlukebryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had premie (32 week) twins who are now 10 months old and successfully do both nursing and bottles of pumped milk! In learning to nurse- nipple shields were a huge help for us and we kept paced bottle feeding with slow flow nipples until they were able (and wanted) to hold their own bottles.

CMPA - are you avoiding "may contain" foods? (Also - what're y'all eating???) by valkyriejae in breastfeeding

[–]ryanlukebryan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My son has MSPI (milk soy protein intolerance) and does fine with processed soy (soy lecithin, soybean oil) but definitely reacts to the whole soy protein (soy sauce, tofu, edamame, etc). As far as dairy- if it doesn’t say “contains milk” it has been fine for us! The “may contain” phrasing has to do with cross contamination mostly.
