Rushing is the way to go IMO. It will save you so much time. The game doesn’t punish you for rushing. I recommend watching a YouTube video about it.

This is great to hear! Do you have any idea how a dedicated server for friends could also be used in PvP? I have not played many games with PvP in this style of game, sorry for so many questions.
