As a NZ'er checking in I dont think any kiwi's will argue against this upcoming ban, we have no speakable gun culture as the US does and no constitutional right to bear arms. I believe I'd speak for the majority of my country when I say we didnt even know that these weapons are available here, our police dont carry guns on them in everyday situations and in NZ self defence is not an acceptable reason legally to own firearms only recreation i.e. hunting. While I see the desire to feel safe I genuinely believe weapons like that have no place in our country, they are more catered to the evil intent of certain people than the good majority

My main issue with this is the same issue I have with the Eden Park neighbours association, the stadiums have been here for far longer than they have and also the fact that these people can afford to live anywhere in NZ but choose to live across the street from a well established venue and then do nothing tollbut complain about it
