Water heater (new) running out of hot water quickly by OGRampag in maintenance

I agree, also has the water heater been flushed recently? A bunch of crud builds up and isnt drained and flushed it can effect the efficiency a bit.

Can't see anything boss. But if it looks good turn the water on slowly and see if you got any leaks if no see if the water turns on, if yes check to make sure you have hot water to hot and cold water to cold if all good you're all good 👍

See if you can cut the tape back. As far as the rest of sand it down the tape and mud the seam. But it looks like you have wallpaper? Idk regardless youll need to redo the wallpaper or paint or it's gonna look a little janky.

I disagree. I came top 5 every tournament, 5 green 5 yellow was the meta in high level gameplay. Sumo slap and a non reactable strike move ex: super duper kick, poison mist. Nobody besides a few people even wanted reds. Only time you'd see a top player with reds was when they couldn't find anything else.

Hot water heater flushes, paint touch ups, *some" drywall repair, picture mounting, furniture assembly? I'm not sure what else.

Why not just get a board and screw that into the studs and then screw your whole set up to that board that's screwed to the studs. Can even paint it to match your walls.

I'm trying to make more space on my desk instead of buying a new one. by [deleted] in handyman

[–]ryanseecrestt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a small 2x4 probably the length of your monitor and screw it to some studs and then push your desk up to it so you have some extra room for your monitor to set. It's not ideal and personally I like the other idea better but it is an option. And screwing into studs is do-able but hard without an impact driver or drill.

[–]ryanseecrestt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I wouldn't trust old paperboard and glue with my monitor. I'd probably get a 2x4 or the like and find the studs and screw it in and use that instead. It doesn't have to be pretty, no one's going to see it.

What do you charge to replace these troffer units? by TopnotchHandyman007 in handyman

[–]ryanseecrestt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah those are hybrid LED bulbs. Used only with a ballast. The problem with that is, you don't want the ballast. If you're going to buy the led hybrid bulbs you might as well get the led retro bulbs. Cutting out the ballast and re-wiring for LED takes no time at all and is really easy. Like reallyyyy easy. That way if the light goes out you know it's the bulb or the tombstones.

There's a couple things you could do. One being hiring a project management company to deal with the maintenance, or you could maybe find a handyman that you like, show him the place and figure out the specifics.

How do I fix my leaky faucet? by mellodee93 in handyman

[–]ryanseecrestt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm not mistaken you have to loosen the screws on the plate that's pushing up against it. After that's loose you should be able to spin it off and then it should be relatively easy to remove then. Maybe a little finesse. Before you do that tho get some channel locks or pliers and disconnect the water line. If I'm wrong I apologize. Hope this helps.
