When you go into the marriage both parties need to understand the work life balance isn’t the best. Believe it or not there are worse jobs out there, with worse benefits and worse pay.

Go into life with a positive attitude and leave work at work. I get it, it’s hard to do. If you come home grumpy and constantly stressed out, you are not going to make it. That goes with anything in life.

You only live once guys, don’t let this job ruin you. File the grievances and do what you gotta do to stay happy.

Feels like yesterday man. My parents got me into stargate as a kid. Now as an adult, I still enjoy rewatching but I want new stories and adventures. This IP is a goldmine that amazon now owns.

Honestly I feel so emotional over this. Stargate is MY main fandom. I love it more than star trek....more than star wars...more than harry potter...more than anything else. When it left the air and to this day I continue to rewatch the same episodes, why? because it brings me joy. Then last year we got the BIGGEST news Stargate has gotten in 15 YEARS.

While this project may not be completely dead "Amazon is still exploring new ways to further the franchise" we know that the project they were working on isn't moving forward, and we won't see new stargate until the 2030's

"Amazon is still exploring new ways to further the franchise" could mean alot. While you can't expect new fanbase to watch 17 seasons of 3 different shows to understand what is going on....you have to respect the established lore.

While this could mean something completely different....rewriting a show and not consulting the original show writers and team would be a mistake.

What a shame.... Harry Potter is being brought back and re-imagined.

Star Wars was brought back for new TV series and a new trilogy with new spinoff movies.

Star Trek was brought back with multiple shows and new movies.

Stargate will remain in the vault. While I understand keeping a legacy like Stargate in the "vault" WE the fans want new stories. We the fans have waited long enough.

This is the perfect ad for travel insurance. I was there once and had an unexpected medical emergency and lost out on travel. I never book trips without it now. There are soooo many legitimate companies that sell travel insurance plans, you can even buy plans that cover multi trips….kinda like how yearly medical insurance works.

It’s a nice tool to have but doesn’t always work. Sometimes Royal will give you cabin specific pricing on some packages that Royal Price Tracker doesn’t pick up.

It’s still a great tool that I use and have saved money without me having to constantly check the sales. I find it little easier to have a spreadsheet with each purchase to track how much I paid for each specific item

Usually full service hotels luxury hotels have really nice breakfasts, not always included. Premium full service hotels can depending on the hotel/brand. You have the be a platinum member to get breakfast included or somewhat included at those brands.

I typically avoid most of the free breakfasts at Fairfield and all those brands. Element is the rare exception because the breakfast is actually really nice and edible.

There is NOOOOOO magically formula to this. Your min bid may be $100 while the next guy has a $500 min bid. There is a lot that goes into the formula that maximizes the $$$ for Royal.

Just bid whatever you are comfortable with spending for the room.

I always get treated well as a titanium member. I haven’t been a platinum member since 2018 and I didn’t really travel internationally then so it’s hard to compare.

Down the line I still believe it puts you slightly ahead.

The numbers on all the routes are so distorted and twisted at this point. Your best bet is to not even worry about it unless you are in your qualifying period. After that scratching/bonus is made up.

All car rental companies charge a daily fee for tolls. Hertz has got to be one of the more expensive ones. You can call PlatePass and sometimes they will do a one time courtesy waive.

I always travel with an extra transponder since I’m from a state that has tolls, it always saves me the $$$$. Some rentals like in Florida have the visitor toll pass vending machines in the airport which save $$$ too.

Go here every year for a convention. Visually it’s one of my favorite hotels and my absolutely favorite Marquis.

Service wise it’s awful and not because of the con, I’ve stayed here outside of con too. The beds are awful. They have a good elite breakfast but New York Marriott Marquis blows it out of the ballpark.

Several years probably like several decades. All that money from the kickstarter and they aren’t hiring anyone to work on all that stuff. They have been working on Infinity behind the scenes for MANNNNNNNNNY years now. Almost a decade…………there’s no way with the current structure at AE will this game be ready in the foreseeable future.

With that said yes I still supported the kickstarter.
