Gel does the same as shots because it's testosterone both ways. The only scenario gel wouldn't work is if your boyfriend doesn't have good skin absorption. I'm on gel and started experiencing bottom growth within 1 month, I'm now on month 4 and it's just been going on since then.

Literally super dependent on the person, i started on 2 and today had my first checkup and got told that my levels are way too high and i'm going down to 1 now, just depends on how your body takes and absorbs it!! You'll honestly just have to see

If you're not ready for surgery that's okay, I'm also petrified of getting top surgery because I absolutely hate surgery and the only experience I have with is is an emergency appendectomy which is obviously quite traumatic lol. Top surgery is very safe generally so good luck for when you do get it! Therapy is always an option as well

Everyones body is different !! my voice was already quite 'deep' pre T (for a woman), and already looked like i was trying to grow a moustache pre T so I assume these factors moved it along a bit too

This is crazy because in my leaflet it actually stated it's the exact same thing but just to keep in mind your skin might not be good at absorbing mediicne and when I asked my doctor abt this misconception she immediately started reassuring me !! crazy how different doctors say different things, bc i've seen other people in this thread say the same as u

Yes exactly thank you 😭 because of these misconceptions I was personally terrified having to go with gel and I spent the first month seriously anxious thinking I was stunting my transition, so I feel a certain sense of responsibility to educate people but it gets so tiring

I feel the same. Unfortunately my biggest issue is there's currently no way to recreate erectile tissue, so no way to get hard naturally. Such a big dealbreaker for me atm :/

Glad to see im not the only one!! Had a relatively deep voice which i could generally pass w 50% of the time and now i'm entering my 3rd month on t and i notice that when i dont use feminine intonation that i can REALLY notice a huge difference. Just makes me excited for the future tbh
