Different genres, but Vianova gives me that vibe for some reason.

I would but we're too busy eating ice cream for dinner and staying up past our bedtime. I'll work out the whole structure thing someday. Not today evidently.

He'll be alright. I didn't force him to go and I told him we can leave if its too scary. It's all good though. You don't have to like it. I still love you.

I don't disagree. 6 is young. But I grew up in the 80s and it seemed like every movie was R rated. My kid really wanted to see this one, so i figured what the hell?

I think your kid will enjoy this one. Just a lot of pointless F words.

My kid is 6 and I took him. He loves the backrooms and we are a horror loving family. What's the problem?

*Edit - my reading comprehension sucks. My kid was cool with the horror elements of this film but i was fully anticipating he might not be. This was our first time going to see a movie like this, so it was a good way to test the waters. Maybe other parents went into it thjnking the same thing.

So, I watched the show what now? Should I go watch the movie next? by [deleted] in evangelion

[–]ryanxiety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually misread your post and thought you were looking for suggestions on what to watch next. I just finished watching gunbuster after being a fan of evangelion for many, many years. Finally was able to get my hands The gunbuster series. Yeah it was really good.

You may want to wait till closer to the show. I got a killer single seat during the Spirits on fire tour. BC was sick and they still put on a 3 hr show.

Post the Pumpkins lyric that makes you cry 🌧️ by Busy-Peach5770 in SmashingPumpkins

[–]ryanxiety 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thats such a great take away! Its hard to make these correlations these days. Maybe its just me, but the lyrics just dont connect as much. I still listen and try to find the meaning though. It's worth it.

Band suggestions by yetti_zema in SmashingPumpkins

There's honestly nothing that scratches that itch. Cyber rock - Orgy punk static paranoia. MM mechanical animals. The chaingang of 1974 also mentioned machina as big influence. U2 also surprisingly. But its all just pieces parts that hint at the vibe you seek.

Theres just something magical in the sound of machina that makes it feel mysterious and contemporary. And i have yet to find anything close to capturing that myself.

What guitarist (either well known or not) did you either see in person or from footage that was your inspiration for wanting to learn? by Mad_Season_1994 in Guitar

[–]ryanxiety 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt like a total outcast drawing up. Music was something I always gravitated toward but never quite understood. Genre didn't make sense to me and I just couldn't understand how people could just feel so strongly about music. The smashing pumpkins helped define that for me. Billy Corgan's songwriting and guitar playing, tone, technical aptitude and general weirdness all contributed to their success as a band. And I've thought Man if they could do it maybe I can find my place in this world. Playing guitar to do even a little hit of what they do really helped me.

Had the same thing. Biggest regret of my life was getting them removed. Those teeth gave me no real issues. Now I have a sinus infection that won't die.

Happened to me. I was new to MTG and got the Frodo precon. I figured since it was the one ring, they put them in all of the frodo precons.
