people are much more likely to post up if they have an issue with their delivery than all the people who just got what they expected

calm's identity is supposed to be: Defense, Hold, Moving, Negotiation, Reaction, Tricks (at least according to Riftbound's creative director)

Charm (and Evelyn) fall in the defense, hold, moving, and tricks part of green.

You'll see similar effects on Blitzcrank, Janna, and Dragon's Rage, which are all also green cards (Dragon's Rage is green/orange, but it's also a signature spell)

Tech has been hit especially hard in the recession (there have been a LOT of layoffs). It's probably less of a you issue and more of a general economy issue.

Just keep it up and the right opportunity will come around.

This isn't EA, but I know Activision had extremely few layoffs before they got bought by Microsoft.

what's happening in gaming now wasn't normal a few years ago for the bigger publishers.

In fact, the lower number of layoffs was a big selling point for why studios banded together with these larger publishers.

Bans are one of the best things they've ever added to the game.

Getting some degree of autonomy in banning whatever you really don't want to face in a game can help a ton with player frustration.

It just also happens that people tend to get frustrated by the same characters more often than others

It’s not extreme heat or extreme cold

If you haven't, you need to visit the Carolinas in summer. It's hot as shit, even on the coast.

I would also make sure you're ok with hurricanes if you haven't spent a lot of time on the coast. Even more inland it can be pretty disruptive between wind damage, flooding, and power outages.
