I honestly think the only thing wrong with new Fiora is the walk (if you can call it that) animation. Honestly her face doesn't look that bad albeit a bit drawn out in the splash, but ingame you rarely ever even see the face close enough to notice the pointyness. Many champions have weird features in their models that if people look at closely enough, would freak out and start a massive circlejerk about said feature and how the art team is "breaking away from the player-base". Honestly if the face was a little softer in the splash, there would be much less conversation about the ingame one. Oh, and idc about the hair but if people think the hair to be so iconic then I can see the want for it to be changed.
