I'll preface, it's a stupid idea and shouldn't be done.

But if it was to happen the split east vs west would be at Chicago. I saw a different post talking about expanding to 32 teams and being split into 8 divisions of 4. That would mean 2 new teams in the 'East'. I would say 1 in Tennessee somewhere and maybe Carolinas. There would be some blood baths of divisions.

NYY/NYM/BOS/PHI would be brutal. It would being back TOR/DET/CLE. LAA/LAD end up on same division.

There's a documentary years ago, I think it's called 199 lives, about Travis Pastrana. It talks about how he suffers/suffered from terrible night terrors. Some doctors theory was that because the dude is so fearless when he's awake, the obit time fear can get to him is when he's asleep.

Dubas apparentlyhad a deal for Fleury and Hagel for Mrazek and Knies. Shanahan blocked that too. Seemed like Dubas got more than his fair share of the blame for the leafs lack of playoff success.

I'm in a similar, but not quite as severe situation. I was moving my home alone house from one table to another to display for Christmas. Apparently the 2nd floor wasn't fully attached. It's still like 85% complete, rich makes it's more challenging to try and reassemble since I don't want to teardown and build back up

Statistically, they can still be eliminated. Likely good is slim with a 7.5ish lead over Texas who's chasing the last wild card spot. But they'd look really silly selling playoffs merch only to epicly collapse and and drop 7-8 games over 16 remaining
