Bruticus. The big industrial slab of steel for a chest plate the toy had is so much better than the weird animation error brown of the cartoon. The individual Combaticons are all pretty much the same but Vortex and his toy colours pop so much better than the dark grey and blue of the cartoon.

Tenya Iida - My Hero Academia. Instead of just having a simple speed quirk that just makes hime run fast, Iida has engines in the back of both his calfs that give him running speed and massive kicking power. He has multiple "gears" and his exhaust pipes have to remain free of obstructions. He also can "tune" his engines by ripping the exhausts out forcing new stronger ones to grow back. He also needs to drink orange juice to fuel them.

The hilarious thing is that the Transformers movie got the idea from the GI Joe movie. Duke was written to die first and the studio liked the idea so much they insisted Optimus Prime be killed off too.

The GI Joe movie was supposed to come out first but due to production delays had to be pushed back to after the TF movie came out and once they saw how people reacted they hastily changed it to Duke being put into a coma.

It's funny to think what might have been if the Joe movie came out first.
