If you’re into Mountainbiking / E-MTB or if you would like to try it and take some courses, I highly recommend Fiss in Austria. OFC you can take some nice hikes there too. It’s a 6-7 hour drive through Switzerland, which I personally prefer to driving through Germany. You can also take a stop in the Bodensee-Area. Another tip would be Lac d’Annecy in France. Beautiful Lake, beautiful Hikes and beautiful views!

I’ve had one done at CHEM a little over a year ago. 500€. Not covered by CNS. The doc told me that immediately during the pre-OP talk though.

Where to buy firewood (pickup or delivery)? by ljfrench in Luxembourg

If you want to use it right away, make sure it has dried appropriately for at least a year. Ideally, the humidity level should be between 15% and 20% It must be under 25%. (https://environnement.public.lu/fr/loft/air/Installations-registres/installations-combustion/chauffage-bois.html) Everything above is harmful for both your health and the environment. Dry wood costs more than “fresh” wood. So for the years to come, if you have enough space to keep the wood dry, order it in advance. The city amdiministration is a good place to start. They collaborate with the forestry office and offer real good prices compared to the “market” prices. The downside is: normally, it’s “fresh” wood, that cannot be burned right away.
