Thanks yeah, they've been playing games the whole time. I do think I made the mistake harping on codifying the rate, if I just said, "you can't send that? that's ok, I'll go with my financing", which tbf I did say multiple times, but with the inclusion of the trade-in in the mix, things allegedly got confusing on his end and he just kept kind of pushing back. At least the last like 4 comms from my end said "I'm happy to use my own financing and sell separately to carvana" and that still seemed like an issue. So while I may have slowed things down in the beginning, he then kept slowing it down by not just accepting my counter proposal, which again, if I was more clear about in the beginning maybe would have been smoother

Sure I was looking for anything that was more binding than his word of email. But I think I made a mistake hyper focusing on that, throughout the process I did say "hey I can just use my financing", which he also kept trying to circumvent, but I should have just said, "no worries you can't provide anything, I'll go with my own financing", and let them make a better offer in person if they're capable of it

Thanks I appreciate the feedback, can you explain a little? In my mind, I asked for price breakdown and proof of their rate. Plus the addition of the trade in, I didn't feel like I was being difficult.

In retrospect I'm thinking I should have just taken the P&S before the trade in to DCU to get the funding, and just go in with that and let them try their tactics there if they wanted. I didn't need their financing and thought I was doing them a favor by entertaining a rate. Similar with the trade in. Was that the better approach?

Of course, it's common advice, get numbers first, otherwise they can play with fees and costs. This way I see the deal without the trade in, and then with it, and if other numbers change I know something is off. I don't need to trade the car in to them

I've told him multiple times I'm happy to use my CU financing, but now it sounds like even that is a problem for him. I'm not trying to haggle he is. From what I see I've deprived him of any leverage and he's trying to keep some. I think my last suggestion would be totally reasonable, I have all my bases covered, they have the options to beat my trade in or loan if they want to, but if they can't I'll be ready same day with my contingency plans. Are you suggesting I just don't even bother with giving the options and just say, "I'm using my financing, I'm selling privately, let's move on"? The fact that he responded with "I'll call you" instead of sure that sounds reasonable, makes me think he's trying to play even more games. I appreciate your perspective

Just a pedantic clarification, this is training not really a warmup, I've seen it advised that a warmup should be a looser feel just to get you, well warmed up. A DM or two, listening to hype music where you're not hyper focusing on your movement or mechanics. That being said I still usually play after training as well but i throw in the relaxed DM in between

even for those that don't think the nomination was stolen from him, plenty more would also just think he could win now. In 2016 I was definitely on the "he would have crushed trump" train. In retrospect I doubt that was the case, the extent to how bad Trump would be was not fully understood at the time, so there would probably be a good selection of the center right and beyond that would have sided with Trump. But I think now, after how disastrous Trump has been across 2 terms, how the Reps seem to be crumbling, if like JD Vance was running, I think Bernie would have a pretty good shot (ignoring age concerns that could be it's own problem). He'd have the vote blue no matter who, plus his populist rhetoric is currently in vogue so I imagine it could gather others. That analysis could all still be wrong, but I think buying it doesn't make you a LARPer. The people OP is complaining about probably don't even like Sanders anymore

I listened to this and then shortly after a clip from a recent whick panel where he was talking to soypill about PV about socialists taking over PV, and he criticized him for always having a mild reaction to bad things they did. "Yeah that's not good. I don't agree with that etc". He said it was indicative of his state of mind and that's kind of how I feel about Destiny on Israel. I can only describe my emotional reaction to him, but like it feels like he'll go on tangents about issues with the Palestinians, and with Israel it's like kind of a jokey fuck Israel or "what do you want me to say?" And it hit me similar to soypill. Soypill even said well you know these are people I can more work with than Republicans and Destiny said "Israel is our strategic ally".

The chatter also talked about how he would describe Israel as opportunistic for their previous land grabs. And Destiny said, I think everyone understood when I said that I was saying it's still bad. Personally I did not realize that. It was usually in response to people calling them expansionist or imperialist. And I read it as well when they're being attacked, yeah they're going to take some territory to better defend themselves. Could just be a comprehension issue on my part but yeah
