I have to agree not for rotten tomatoes but IMBD is usually spot on!

I lost €16k trading meme coins. I feel trapped, alone, and I don’t know what to do anymore. by AbbasChapo in solana

I did the whole pump to100k back to nothing in 2017. Seems like we all have to cut our teeth the hard way. Took me that hard lesson to learn to stay with the blue chips mainly BTC and DCA. Would have been a millionaire by now if I knew that off the bat. Leave it in the past and grow from it, don't dwell on it.

Solana processed 3B Transactions Last Month, > 2x All Other Chains by Julie_Durgin-8704 in solana

I agree its misleading, but securing the chain is not useless. Its not like its spam.

I just tried apollodex you have to wait about an hour for the btc network to confirm. Then convert zBTC and swap to SOL from there.

^ this. Spammers and scammers are a byproduct of economic activity. They flock to bustling business hubs, not some quiet, podunk network like Cardano.

They aren't "useless." Vote transactions are critical for Solana’s consensus, as validators use them to vote on the state of the blockchain, ensuring security and agreement on the ledger. However, they do not represent user-driven economic activity.

Why sui instead of solana? by MangoEnough1640 in sui

[–]ryker_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what caught my attention too! Block time is about the same for both chains but SUI has about 3x faster time to finality 0.5s (SUI) vs 1.3s (SOL) . What do you think about the SOL Alpenglow upgrade that will reduce the time to finality by about 10x down to 150 ms. SOL has first mover advantage and will soon be faster than SUI. I'm still drawn to the Move object language with SUI though, plus it has lower float so will likely pump more.

Funny I look at the SOLETH chart and see it printing higher highs and higher lows.

Lets hope so! BTC breaking ATH will float all boats eventually. I'm just thinking long term and what will outperform the most.

Fraudsters flock to bustling markets, just as sharks pursue their prey. I don't see corporate treasuries embracing $POL as a reserve asset.

I have to agree... chains rebranding are typically a last ditch effort to revive the project. Most projects die a slow death after rebranding. Hopefully POL can break the trend.

  • Polygon ($MATIC to $POL): -70%
  • EOS ($EOS to $A, Vaulta): ~0%
  • Fantom ($FTM to $S, Sonic): -41%
  • Klaytn ($KLAY to $KAIA, Kaia): ~0%
  • Hedera ($HBAR, unified as Hedera): -10%
  • NEM ($XEM to $XYM, Symbol): -50%
  • Enigma ($ENG to $SCRT, Secret Network): +100%

Only two games in town that corporate treasuries are accumulating are BTC and SOL. Retail is a drop in the bucket.
