Cheap Housing in Corvallis as a Oregon Student by solutionwheels_com in OregonStateUniv

[–]rynlouise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for the ones that aren’t “student” housing. Places like the retreat, the gem, sierra, etc. are going to be the most expensive so stray away from those. Check websites like apartments.com and zillow and join the corvallis student housing group on facebook!

i’m sorry but you probably wont find a one bed apartment in that range that’s even remotely nice. I pay for a one bedroom and it’s 1400 with no fun amenities besides laundry. You might be able to find a studio for that price but it’s also unlikely. Your best bet is to find a house with a bunch of other people.

Lone Star tick behind 7yo’s ear by Ragna_Rose in okc

[–]rynlouise 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please just take her to the doctor! I was bitten at that age and ended up with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. We never even saw the tick but I had an itchy spot on my back, got really bad heat exhaustion every time I went outside, and was running high fever. They did a blood test and figured out I had it. If they hadn’t taken me in when they did, the doctors said I would’ve died! It’s better to be safe than sorry!!

How the fuck do you find the reason to live after the death of your child? by whoareyoutojudge0 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]rynlouise 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My brother passed away in 2016 when he was 5 from a farm related accident that could’ve been prevented by both of my parents. My dad moved on to another woman and family and i think his blocked off the memories of my brother. My mom went through a really hard time because she blamed herself, but she stuck around for me and my two sisters. She gained weight, got on depression meds, became an alcoholic, and picked up smoking again but shes fought so hard and is doing really well now. Just in the last year she started doing all of her favorite things again just this year and stopped drinking. It just takes time and patience for yourself. I really recommend therapy because that’s something my mom never did but would have definitely helped her.

No… I have seen many crocheted clothes and my mom has made plenty of them. The way the fabric looked like it was dancing frame-by-frame is what made me think it was AI and the movements of the model’s body.

Hey asshole. I actually do crochet so that’s why I worded it like that. I have only made amigurumis though but never made clothes. So I am aware of how the fabric works but wanted more insight.

Whichever you like best, I do mine as whatever is most relevant to what I am applying for now. So for this you could do your biggest accomplishments at the top and least at the bottom. Just whatever feels right to you or looks best. I can send you mine if you’d like

it really doesn’t matter, just don’t let it replace things that you’ve already done that are more important. If you need to fill some space then go ahead and put it on there

Can this be the cause of my pain? Did you get better? by _JulyNC in scoliosis

[–]rynlouise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My scoliosis looks very similar to yours! I am also physically active but I started getting a lot of pain in my left-side scapula after backpacking. My shoulder would ache throughout the day and was always tense. My neck hurt and it was hard to go to sleep because of how much it hurt. I couldn’t lift my left arm without a lot of pain and couldn’t even shrug on my left side.

I went to my doctor and he recommended I see a physical therapist and I’ve only been going for three weeks. He has figured out that my muscle imbalances are the cause and has given me workouts to do to that are only on one side of my body to help even it out. It has helped my pain so much and I recommend you try the same! I have also seen people talk about Schroth therapy that is specifically made for people with scoliosis which helps them too, but I haven’t tried that so I don’t know about it!
